đź“‹ Description

  • • The Zebra, recognized as a Best Place to Work in Austin for four consecutive years, is at the forefront of transforming how connected consumers research and purchase insurance. We are deeply committed to fostering diverse teams where everyone feels a sense of belonging and inclusion. Our guiding principle, "All Stripes Welcome," is not just a motto but a practice that celebrates both traditional and non-conventional backgrounds and perspectives. Our team members, known as Zeebs, are characterized by their enthusiasm for learning, professional growth, and collaborative problem-solving.
  • • As a Senior Product Data Analyst, you will be instrumental in driving data-informed decision-making across our product organization. Your primary focus will be on analyzing user behavior, product performance metrics, and the adoption rates of various features. The insights you generate will be crucial for identifying opportunities to enhance the customer experience and accelerate the achievement of our product goals.
  • • You will work in close partnership with Product Managers, Engineers, Designers, and other cross-functional teams. Your role will involve guiding experimentation initiatives, providing data-driven input for roadmap decisions, and validating the impact of newly launched features. The ideal candidate will possess a strong foundation in analytical methodologies, excellent communication skills, and a proven ability to translate complex product and behavioral data into clear, actionable insights that directly influence product strategy and contribute to business growth.
  • • Your responsibilities will encompass conducting in-depth exploratory data analysis to identify emerging trends, uncover significant patterns, and pinpoint opportunities that can inform and refine product performance and overall strategy. You will collaborate closely with product managers, engineers, and other key stakeholders to define precise data requirements necessary to support the ongoing development of our products.
  • • A significant part of your role will involve partnering with Product Managers to meticulously define, execute, and analyze experiments using our dedicated experimentation tool (Eppo). This includes ensuring the methodological integrity of these experiments and deriving actionable outcomes from their results. You will also deliver critical optimization insights for current initiatives through ad hoc analyses and the development and maintenance of performance dashboards.
  • • You will be responsible for monitoring key product metrics, Key Performance Indicators (KPIs), and consumer behavior patterns to proactively identify areas ripe for improvement and innovation. A core competency will be your ability to effectively communicate your findings to both technical and non-technical audiences, transforming complex data sets into understandable and actionable narratives that drive strategic action.
  • • The Zebra offers a flexible work environment, allowing employees to work remotely within the U.S. Alternatively, you can choose to join us in our Austin, Texas office or adopt a hybrid work arrangement. We support the work setup that best suits your needs, whether it's the structure of an office, the convenience of remote work, or a blend of both. Please note that at this time, we are unable to hire candidates residing in California, Massachusetts, New Jersey, and New York.
  • • We are looking for individuals who demonstrate a strong sense of ownership, possess excellent communication and collaboration skills, and are committed to continuous improvement. Your analytical rigor, coupled with your ability to translate data into strategic recommendations, will be key to your success in this role and to the continued growth and innovation of The Zebra's product offerings. You will be a vital contributor to our mission of bringing transparency and simplicity to the insurance shopping experience.
