  • • This is a pivotal leadership position, serving as the primary analytics strategist and advisor for our automotive clients. You will be instrumental in shaping data-informed strategies, optimizing marketing efforts, and ensuring our clients achieve their business objectives through advanced analytics. Your role will demand a keen understanding of the automotive industry's unique challenges and opportunities, coupled with a comprehensive grasp of cutting-edge analytical techniques.
  • • You will be responsible for developing and implementing sophisticated analytics strategies that directly support and enhance our clients' marketing campaigns and advertising initiatives. This involves not just crunching numbers, but crafting compelling data narratives that resonate with mid to senior-level stakeholders, translating complex findings into clear, actionable business insights.
  • • A key aspect of this role is establishing robust measurement frameworks and leading client-specific learning agendas. You will identify and prioritize advanced analytics and measurement solutions, including but not limited to market mix modeling, attribution analysis, forecasting, customer segmentation, and incrementality testing, all aimed at driving tangible business outcomes for our automotive clients.
  • • You will be a visible and consistent source of thought leadership, delivering valuable insights and recommendations to both clients and key internal Canvas stakeholders. Your ability to translate intricate data findings into impactful business recommendations will be crucial for client retention and growth.

  • • We are looking for someone who can not only analyze data but also tell a compelling story with it, making complex insights accessible and persuasive to diverse audiences. This includes presenting findings and recommendations to senior management and automotive marketing teams with confidence and clarity.
  • • The ability to proactively identify and address complex business issues using data and analytical methodologies is a must. You will be expected to anticipate client needs and provide strategic guidance before challenges arise.
  • • This hybrid role offers the flexibility of remote work while requiring a minimum of two days per week in our vibrant Playa Vista, CA office, fostering collaboration and team connection.

🎯 Requirements

  • • 10+ years of progressive managerial experience in analytics, with a strong preference for experience within media performance, digital marketing, or a closely related field.
  • • Proven expertise in advanced analytics and measurement methodologies, including market mix modeling, attribution, forecasting, segmentation, and incrementality testing.
  • • Demonstrated ability to lead, mentor, and develop a team of analytics professionals, fostering a collaborative and innovative work environment.
  • • Strong business acumen and client-facing experience, with the ability to translate complex data findings into clear, actionable business recommendations for senior stakeholders.
  • • Proficiency in data analysis, statistical methods, and modeling techniques. Experience with BI tools (Tableau, Looker, Power BI), SQL, Python, R, and various analytics platforms is highly desirable.
  • • Experience working within the automotive industry is a significant plus, providing a deep understanding of its unique market dynamics and challenges.
