- • Brainstorm and define early feature concepts through collaborative sessions with stakeholders to shape product direction.
- • Translate design vision into wireframes, high-fidelity designs, and functional prototypes as needed to communicate interaction and flow.
- • Present design decisions during regular peer design reviews, clearly articulating rationale and incorporating feedback to iterate rapidly.
- • Collaborate directly with engineering teams to ensure faithful implementation of designs according to Trading 212’s quality standards.
- • Base all design decisions on quantitative data from Trading 212’s analytics tools and qualitative insights from conducted usability tests.
- • Evolve and maintain the company’s design system and library to ensure consistency, scalability, and efficiency across all products.
- • Drive innovation by researching, evaluating, and integrating new design tools and workflows into the team’s process.
- • Take full ownership of assigned products and features, autonomously managing end-to-end design delivery from concept to launch.
- • Reduce complex user flows into clean, intuitive flowcharts and diagrams to facilitate cross-functional alignment and decision-making.
- • Apply expert knowledge of user-centric design principles and methodologies to solve real-world problems for millions of users.
- • Demonstrate mastery of visual design fundamentals including layout, typography, color theory, and visual hierarchy in all deliverables.
- • Utilize industry-standard design tools such as Figma or Sketch to produce precise, production-ready assets and documentation.
- • Communicate design concepts and rationale clearly through verbal presentations and written documentation to diverse teams.
- • Contribute to a culture of excellence and high velocity by consistently delivering high-quality, user-tested solutions under tight timelines.
- • Build and maintain a portfolio that showcases depth of thought, problem-solving ability, and impact of shipped designs.
- • Actively participate in shaping the design culture at Trading 212 by sharing insights, mentoring peers, and promoting best practices.
🎯 Requirements
- • Expert knowledge of user-centric design principles and methodologies
- • Strong visual design skills including layout, typography, and colour theory
- • Strong diagramming skills to reduce complex user flows into clean flowcharts
- • Proven proficiency with Figma, Sketch, or other design tools
- • Excellent collaborative skills with ability to express ideas verbally and in writing
- • An extensive portfolio that can be shared with the team
