đź“‹ Description
- • As a Senior Product Manager at Lawhive Inc., you will own the delivery of the company’s AI operating system and core platforms, serving as the critical bridge between high-level business strategy and technical execution. You will work side-by-side with engineering and AI teams to translate complex product visions into actionable, detailed specifications, ensuring that the most innovative legal tech solutions are built efficiently, reliably, and with exceptional quality. This role is central to Lawhive’s mission to democratize access to law through cutting-edge AI, making your impact both technically profound and socially significant.
- • Day to day, you will: partner directly with engineering and AI leads to break down ambitious business goals into precise technical requirements and delivery roadmaps; dissect intricate system architectures and workflows to identify and eliminate blockers, enabling engineers to build the right features quickly and correctly; drive the evolution of the Lawrence AI engine and platform scalability, focusing on performance, reliability, and long-term technical excellence; create and maintain tight feedback loops with technical teams through daily standups, sprint planning, and retrospectives to ensure alignment and rapid iteration; immerse yourself in the legal domain by learning its unique workflows, regulatory constraints, and user behaviors to inform product decisions with deep contextual understanding; collaborate with leadership on product strategy, vision, and prioritization across the entire business, balancing short-term delivery with long-term platform innovation; and leverage data analytics, system monitoring tools, and architectural insights to make evidence-based product decisions that optimize both user outcomes and system efficiency.
- • Lawhive is a regulated, AI-native law firm headquartered in London with a growing presence in the US, backed by top-tier investors including Google Ventures, Balderton Capital, and TQ Ventures. Following a $60M Series B funding round in early 2026 that valued the company at $685M, Lawhive is scaling rapidly to expand internationally while maintaining its core values of ownership, daily shipping, user empathy, excellence, and relentless experimentation. The Product & Engineering teams form the beating heart of the company, operating with high autonomy, accountability, and a commitment to shipping quality code every day.
- • In this role, you will develop deep expertise in AI-powered legal technology platforms, sharpen your ability to translate complex domain problems into technical specifications, and gain end-to-end ownership of mission-critical systems that directly impact how legal services are delivered. You will grow as a strategic technical leader, influencing both product direction and engineering execution at a fast-moving, high-growth startup poised to redefine the legal industry. Success here means not only shipping innovative features but also building scalable, resilient platforms that empower lawyers and clients alike through intelligent automation and thoughtful design.
🎯 Requirements
- • Proven experience as a Product Manager on complex, technical platforms, preferably in AI, SaaS, or regulated industries, with a strong track record of delivering high-quality products in fast-paced environments.
- • Exceptional ability to collaborate with engineering and AI teams, speaking their language fluently and translating ambiguous business goals into clear, actionable technical specifications and delivery plans.
- • Deep analytical and strategic thinking, with experience using data, system architecture insights, and user research to inform product decisions and balance short-term delivery with long-term platform health.
- • Demonstrated ownership mindset and comfort working with high autonomy, accountability, and a bias toward action in a startup environment.
- • Strong aptitude for rapid learning, particularly in complex domains like legal tech, with the ability to quickly grasp regulatory, workflow, and user-specific constraints to drive meaningful product innovation.
- • Familiarity with modern product development practices, including agile methodologies, iterative delivery, and close collaboration with cross-functional technical teams.
🏖️ Benefits
- • Meaningful early-stage equity in one of Europe’s fastest-growing AI-powered legal tech startups, offering significant upside potential.
- • 33 days of annual leave per year (25 days plus bank holidays), plus your birthday off, supporting work-life balance and well-being.
- • Flexibility to work from anywhere for up to one month per year, enabling remote work and global mobility.
- • Employer pension contribution via Nest, helping you build long-term financial security.
- • Provision of top-spec equipment, including a choice of MacBook or Windows laptop, to ensure you have the tools needed to excel.
- • Regular team-building activities and social events fostering connection, collaboration, and a strong, inclusive culture.
