📋 Description
- • Own a high-priority 9–12 month roadmap within Abnormal Security’s core Cloud Email Security product area, prioritizing initiatives based on customer value, competitive positioning, and revenue impact.
- • Drive end-to-end product delivery for a strategically critical initiative, leading cross-functional execution across Engineering, Design, Data, Sales, and Customer Success from problem framing and PRDs through launch, instrumentation, and iteration.
- • Conduct discovery with Fortune 500 enterprise customers to understand operational challenges and translate insights into clear problem statements and measurable outcomes.
- • Collaborate deeply with Engineering on architecture and infrastructure tradeoffs underpinning AI-native email detection features, ensuring technical feasibility and scalability.
- • Shape competitive positioning and go-to-market strategy by contributing to customer-facing messaging, analyst conversations, and sales enablement materials to differentiate Abnormal from legacy solutions.
- • Define, track, and report on KPIs including product adoption, competitive win rates, and revenue impact, serving as the domain expert in executive reviews, customer escalations, and roadmap discussions.
- • Serve as the primary product representative in high-stakes customer calls and internal stakeholder meetings, communicating tradeoffs, managing expectations, and building organizational trust.
- • Leverage AI-native workflows using tools like ChatGPT, Claude, v0, and analytics platforms to accelerate discovery, prototyping, documentation, and UX exploration, raising the standard for product execution at Abnormal.
- • Operate with high ownership and operational excellence across documentation, planning, stakeholder alignment, and launch execution in a fast-paced, ambiguity-rich environment.
- • Work at the intersection of infrastructure, AI, and cybersecurity to protect large enterprises from evolving, sophisticated cyberattacks that cause financial loss and operational disruption.
- • Contribute to the evolution of the product management craft at Abnormal by helping shape processes, tools, and culture as the company scales.
🎯 Requirements
- • 6+ years of product management experience in software with a track record of owning complex technical product areas end-to-end in B2B SaaS or similarly technical domains
- • Proven experience working on deeply technical products, collaborating closely with engineering on architecture, scalability, or AI/ML-driven features, and reasoning through technical tradeoffs and constraints
- • Demonstrated ability to own product strategy, definition, and roadmap for a product line or multiple complex surfaces, including problem framing, opportunity sizing, prioritization, and success metrics
- • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with comfort using data (dashboards, experiments, or SQL/analysis in partnership with Data) to inform decisions in ambiguous spaces
- • Excellent communication and cross-functional leadership skills to drive alignment across Engineering, Design, GTM, and executives, and to represent the product in high-stakes or customer-facing scenarios
- • High ownership, operational excellence, and attention to detail across documentation, planning, stakeholder management, and launch execution
