Full Job Description
đź“‹ Description
- • Build and ship product-native AI agents by prototyping directly in agent-building tools alongside engineering teams, not just writing specifications.
- • Lead end-to-end development of AI-powered products from discovery and definition through prototyping, delivery, and iteration, with ownership of the full product lifecycle.
- • Design and refine agentic system behavior, evaluate AI outputs, and iterate on AI agents that are shipped to customers as core product features.
- • Use AI tools daily across your workflow — including research, spec-writing, prototyping, evaluation, and data analysis — and demonstrate genuine enthusiasm for an AI-first product environment.
- • Own and manage at least three distinct product workstreams concurrently, each with defined milestones, dependencies, and delivery timelines.
- • Build and maintain prioritized product roadmaps that balance immediate customer needs with long-term platform scalability and technical debt reduction.
- • Drive cross-functional sprint planning and execution across engineering, data science, power systems experts, and operations teams.
- • Define and track success metrics and OKRs; synthesize product performance data and user feedback to inform iterative improvements.
- • Harden internal-grade AI tools into production-quality products by improving UX, reliability, scalability, and security for external customers.
- • Engage directly with external partners including utilities, hyperscalers, data center developers, and government/public-sector bodies to gather requirements, track milestones, and present product updates.
- • Translate technical inputs from power systems engineers into clear, actionable product requirements and engineering briefs.
- • Collaborate with sales, marketing, operations, and strategy teams to align product direction with go-to-market strategy and customer acquisition goals.
- • Operate with high autonomy in a fast-moving startup environment — setting direction, unblocking progress, and making decisions amid ambiguity without constant oversight.
- • Author PRDs, lead product launches, and manage post-launch iteration based on real-world usage and partner feedback.
- • Work hybrid: 3 days per week in the Redwood City, CA office for collaboration; 2 days remote for focused work.
- • Participate in high-visibility projects that shape the future of AI infrastructure and the energy transition.
🎯 Requirements
- • Hands-on experience building AI agents — personally wiring tools and models together, writing code, or iterating working prototypes, not just using them.
- • Proven track record of shipping AI-powered software from prototype to production as a hands-on builder.
- • Fluency in daily use of AI tools across research, prototyping, analysis, and documentation workflows.
- • Experience managing at least three concurrent product workstreams with clear milestones and delivery timelines.
- • Excellent communication skills with ability to engage credibly with engineers, leadership, and external partners including utilities and hyperscalers.
- • 5+ years of product management experience including roadmapping, prioritization, and requirements ownership.
🏖️ Benefits
- • Competitive salary, performance bonus, and equity.
- • Comprehensive health, dental, and vision coverage.
- • Lunch provided when working in the Redwood City office.
- • Hybrid work schedule: 3 days in office, 2 days remote.
- • Access to leading academic, industry, and government partners in the AI-energy ecosystem.
- • Mission-driven culture focused on enabling the energy foundation for the age of AI.
