You will be instrumental in defining complex problems, navigating challenging trade-offs, and fostering close collaboration with our exceptional teams across Engineering, Design, Data Science, and Nutrition Science.
• • Reporting directly to the Chief Product Officer, you will work alongside Product leadership to architect and scale a groundbreaking application designed to positively impact the health of millions worldwide. As a key member of our centralized Product team, you will play a vital role in ensuring a consistent and cohesive user experience across the entire ZOE ecosystem. Your contributions will be crucial in shipping products that are not only grounded in rigorous scientific research but also deliver tangible, real-world impact for our users.
• • In this specific role as the Product Manager for our E-commerce Platform, you will be entrusted with owning the critical technical foundation that underpins how individuals discover, evaluate, and ultimately purchase ZOE's offerings. This position is fundamentally about building and optimizing the right platform to support our ambitious growth trajectory – a platform that is scalable, highly reliable, and meticulously designed for rapid experimentation and continuous improvement.
• • Your primary objective will be to empower our teams to move with agility, test innovative ideas effectively, and gain deep insights into what truly assists users in embarking on and sustaining their health journeys. You are the crucial gateway into the ZOE experience, and the strategic choices you make will directly influence how easily people can access our cutting-edge science and begin their path to improved health.
• • You will engage in close collaboration with our talented Engineering, Design, Data, and Science partners. Your role will involve translating intricate health and microbiome concepts into a clear, trustworthy, and intuitive user experience, all while upholding the highest standards of scientific integrity. This includes defining core platform capabilities, establishing robust standards for experimentation and performance measurement, and making informed trade-offs that skillfully balance the demands of speed, quality, and long-term scalability.
• • When you succeed in this role, you will directly contribute to more individuals gaining access to the life-changing science and health benefits they deserve. Furthermore, you will ensure that ZOE possesses a robust and adaptable platform that is perfectly positioned to grow alongside our expanding user base and evolving scientific understanding.
• • Key responsibilities will include leading the strategic vision for our web storefront and checkout flows. This involves transforming complex biological testing concepts into a frictionless, high-converting customer journey. You will collaborate closely with our world-class scientists to translate sophisticated insights from Gut Microbiome, Blood Sugar, and Blood Fat analyses into a compelling and accessible commercial narrative.
• • A significant aspect of your role will be optimizing the transition from an initial one-time kit purchase to a sustained, long-term health membership. This requires a delicate balance between driving immediate revenue and maximizing the Life-Time Value (LTV) of our customers.
• • You will leverage data analytics tools, such as Mixpanel, to meticulously identify points of friction within the user journey. Your contribution will extend beyond simply reporting data; you will provide the critical 'so what' analysis that drives strategic adjustments and alters our trajectory towards greater success.
• • You will lead by example in all facets of product discovery, maintain comprehensive documentation (including Product Requirement Documents - PRDs), and champion data-led decision-making processes.
• • Furthermore, you will serve as a key strategic partner to our Engineering, Branding, and Commercial teams, ensuring that the e-commerce roadmap remains tightly aligned with broader company milestones and objectives.
• • You will be expected to mentor junior product managers and contribute to the growth and development of the product team, fostering a culture of learning and continuous improvement.
