  • • As the Lead Product Manager for ShipAccel, you will be instrumental in shaping the future of Pitney Bowes' cutting-edge ecommerce shipping and fulfillment platform. This is a pivotal role where you will define and drive the strategic vision, meticulously craft the product roadmap, and oversee the successful delivery of ShipAccel, our next-generation solution designed to empower merchants and fulfillment partners.
  • • Your primary objective will be to evolve ShipAccel into a robust, scalable, and modular operating system. This platform will be engineered to support seamless growth for businesses of all sizes, from burgeoning startups to established enterprise operations, providing them with the tools they need to thrive in the dynamic ecommerce landscape.
  • • You will be tasked with identifying untapped market opportunities, proactively addressing and closing critical product capability gaps, and delivering truly differentiated solutions. These solutions will span across key areas including shipping logistics, intelligent automation, efficient fulfillment processes, and seamless ecosystem integrations, ensuring our clients have a comprehensive and competitive offering.
  • • This role demands extensive cross-functional collaboration. You will work hand-in-hand with engineering teams to bring innovative ideas to life, partner with design to ensure intuitive user experiences, engage with sales and partnerships to drive market adoption and strategic alliances, and collaborate with support to ensure exceptional customer satisfaction. You will also work closely with executive leadership to align on strategic direction and secure necessary resources.
  • • Ultimately, you will own the outcomes across the entire product lifecycle. This encompasses everything from the initial conceptualization and vision setting, through the detailed development and delivery phases, to ensuring successful market adoption and sustained growth. Your leadership will directly impact the value ShipAccel delivers to merchants and the overall business growth of Pitney Bowes.
  • • You are a natural product leader, possessing a unique blend of deep customer empathy, a keen understanding of commercial impact, and a strong grasp of technical execution. You excel in fast-paced, dynamic environments, adeptly leading teams through periods of change and transforming ambiguity into clear, actionable direction. Your focus is unwavering on delivering tangible customer outcomes, challenging conventional wisdom, and driving measurable product impact that sets new industry standards.
  • • You will be responsible for defining and executing ShipAccel's comprehensive product strategy and roadmap, encompassing shipping, fulfillment, automation, and crucial ecosystem integrations. This includes leading the detailed requirements gathering, rigorous prioritization of features, and overseeing the agile delivery process in close collaboration with engineering and design teams.
  • • A key part of your role will involve translating complex customer needs and emerging market opportunities into scalable, future-proof product capabilities. You will play a critical role in driving the evolution of the platform, ensuring its architecture and functionality align seamlessly with the broader strategic objectives of the SendTech portfolio.
  • • Maintaining a deep and nuanced understanding of ecommerce merchant and fulfillment workflows is paramount. You will continuously analyze competitive offerings, identifying strategic opportunities for differentiation, market expansion, and innovative feature development.
  • • You will actively evaluate and recommend strategic opportunities, including build, partner, or acquisition initiatives, to accelerate the enhancement and expansion of our product capabilities, ensuring ShipAccel remains at the forefront of the industry.
  • • You will significantly influence pricing, packaging, and monetization strategies, ensuring they are meticulously aligned with ambitious growth objectives and deliver maximum value to both our clients and Pitney Bowes.
  • • Continuous monitoring of product performance, adoption rates, and profitability metrics will be essential. You will partner closely with Go-To-Market (GTM) teams to guarantee strong product-market fit and orchestrate successful product launches that resonate with our target audience.
  • • Fostering strong cross-functional alignment across product, engineering, GTM, partnerships, and support organizations is crucial for success. You will drive cohesive strategies and execution across various business units and ensure seamless integration with shared platform capabilities.
  • • You will collaborate effectively with internal and external technology providers to continuously expand the ecosystem's value proposition, creating a richer and more integrated experience for our users.
  • • Owning the end-to-end customer workflows and overall product experience outcomes is a core responsibility. You will partner with support and operations teams to drive improvements in customer satisfaction and retention, ensuring our product consistently meets and exceeds user expectations.
  • • You will serve as the primary subject matter expert for ShipAccel, representing the product effectively across all internal and external stakeholder groups. This includes developing compelling business cases, providing regular roadmap updates, and delivering impactful executive presentations.
  • • You will act as a recognized thought leader within the ecommerce shipping and fulfillment technology space, contributing to the company's reputation and industry influence.

🎯 Requirements

  • • Demonstrated success in leading cross-functional teams through the entire lifecycle of complex software product development and delivery.
  • • Proven ability to synthesize market insights, customer needs, and business objectives into actionable product strategies and roadmaps.
  • • Strong analytical, strategic thinking, and execution skills, with a track record of managing product tradeoffs and making data-driven decisions.
  • • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex ideas clearly and persuasively to diverse audiences, including executive leadership.
  • • Experience working effectively with globally distributed teams, understanding the nuances of international collaboration.

🏖️ Benefits

  • • Competitive salary range of $150,000 to $200,000 per year, commensurate with skills, experience, and location.
