- • Vetcove is seeking a highly skilled and motivated Senior Product Manager to join our dynamic team and play a pivotal role in modernizing the veterinary software industry. This is a unique opportunity to shape the future of pet parent healthcare and the operational efficiency of veterinary clinics across the nation. You will be instrumental in enhancing and scaling our suite of platforms, which includes a leading procurement marketplace, an innovative e-commerce experience for home delivery, and a next-generation practice management system. With over 25,000 hospitals relying on Vetcove daily, you will directly impact the care of tens of millions of pets each year.
- • As a Senior Product Manager, you will own high-impact product initiatives from conception through completion. This involves defining product strategy, developing comprehensive roadmaps, and meticulously overseeing execution. Your responsibilities will extend to driving cross-functional alignment, leading complex projects, and proactively identifying opportunities to enhance user experience, boost operational efficiency, and ensure the long-term scalability of our platforms. You will be the guardian of product performance, monitoring key metrics, analyzing user feedback, and ensuring robust quality assurance processes are in place. A key aspect of your role will be to remove any impediments that hinder customer growth and retention, ensuring a seamless experience for our users.
- • You will collaborate closely with a diverse internal team, including account managers, onboarding specialists, engineering, data analysts, designers, and customer support. Building and maintaining strong relationships with external stakeholders, such as veterinary clinics and pet parents, will also be crucial. Your strategic input will be vital in defining product vision, evaluating critical tradeoffs, and assessing the strengths, opportunities, and risks associated with our software products and services. This position offers more than just a product management role; it's a chance to influence the long-term direction of a platform trusted by thousands of veterinary professionals and to solve significant challenges at scale.
- • The core of your role will involve driving product strategy and roadmap development. You will be responsible for defining and owning the product strategy for key areas of the Vetcove platform, translating overarching company goals and deep customer insights into a clear, prioritized, and actionable roadmap. This requires a strategic mindset and the ability to anticipate future needs and market trends.
- • You will lead complex, cross-functional initiatives from the initial discovery phase through to launch and subsequent iterations. This leadership ensures that large-scale projects are delivered on time and achieve their intended measurable impact, requiring strong project management and organizational skills.
- • A critical function is transforming raw feedback and data into actionable product improvements. You will synthesize both qualitative feedback from users and quantitative data from product analytics to identify new opportunities, validate hypotheses, and inform strategic product decisions. This data-driven approach is fundamental to our product development process.
- • Optimizing product performance is paramount. You will establish and diligently monitor Key Performance Indicators (KPIs), analyze product performance trends, and spearhead initiatives aimed at improving user adoption, engagement, retention, and overall revenue outcomes. This involves a continuous cycle of measurement and improvement.
- • Strengthening cross-functional alignment is essential for success. You will partner closely with engineering, design, data, onboarding, and support teams to ensure everyone is aligned on product requirements, scope, necessary tradeoffs, and the metrics by which success will be measured. Clear communication and collaboration are key.
- • You will elevate product documentation and processes by creating detailed product requirement documents (PRDs), user stories, and technical specifications. This ensures clarity for the development team and upholds a high standard for execution excellence and product quality.
- • Ensuring high-quality delivery involves leading comprehensive Quality Assurance (QA) processes. You will define acceptance criteria, uphold a rigorous standard for user experience, and ensure the overall reliability of our products before they reach our customers.
- • As a Senior Product Manager, you will also mentor and influence others. You will provide guidance and support to junior product managers and influence stakeholders across various departments, fostering a strong product-centric culture throughout the organization.
- • Driving successful go-to-market strategies and enablement is another key responsibility. You will partner with internal teams to ensure smooth product launches, create essential training materials, and support feature adoption among both customers and internal stakeholders.
- • This role is ideal for someone passionate about solving meaningful challenges in a rapidly evolving industry, leading diverse teams, and delivering tangible business impact. You will be at the forefront of innovation in the animal health tech space.
