📋 Description

• Own end-to-end product strategy and roadmap for Vetcove’s market-leading procurement marketplace, home delivery ecommerce platform, and next-generation practice management system used by over 25,000 veterinary clinics nationwide.
• Lead complex, cross-functional initiatives from discovery through launch and post-launch optimization, ensuring on-time delivery and measurable business impact on adoption, engagement, retention, and revenue.
• Synthesize qualitative customer feedback and quantitative data to identify product opportunities, validate hypotheses, and inform strategic decisions that enhance the veterinary clinic and pet parent experience.
• Define, monitor, and analyze KPIs to assess product performance, drive data-informed prioritization, and optimize outcomes across key product areas.
• Partner closely with engineering, design, data, onboarding, support, and account management teams to align on requirements, scope, tradeoffs, and success metrics for all product initiatives.
• Create detailed product requirement documents, user stories, technical specifications, and acceptance criteria to ensure clarity, execution excellence, and quality delivery across all product releases.
• Oversee robust QA processes to uphold high standards for user experience, system reliability, and product functionality in a mission-critical healthcare technology environment.
• Mentor junior product managers and influence stakeholders across departments to foster strong product thinking and align organizational priorities with customer needs.
• Drive go-to-market strategy and enablement by collaborating with internal teams to develop training materials, support adoption, and ensure successful feature launches across veterinary clinics and internal users.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with external stakeholders including veterinary professionals and pet parents to deeply understand their workflows, pain points, and evolving needs.
• Balance short-term tactical wins with long-term platform investments, making principled tradeoffs aligned with Vetcove’s mission to modernize the $50B+ animal health industry.
• Stay technically fluent in SaaS architecture, APIs, integrations, and system design considerations to effectively evaluate implementation tradeoffs and collaborate with engineering on technical feasibility.
• Ensure consistent, high-quality product documentation and process standards to support scalability and operational efficiency as the platform grows.
• Translate company goals and customer insights into a clear, prioritized roadmap that drives strategic growth and positions Vetcove as the leading software platform for veterinary care.

🎯 Requirements

• 5+ years of progressive product management experience with ownership of complex product areas in a SaaS or technology-driven environment
• Proven ability to define and execute product strategy, manage multi-quarter roadmaps, and deliver measurable business impact through cross-functional initiatives
• Strong analytical skills with experience defining KPIs, building business cases, leveraging experimentation frameworks, and using data analytics tools to inform prioritization
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills with demonstrated ability to influence senior stakeholders and drive alignment across engineering, design, support, and sales teams
• Deep customer-obsession with experience conducting user research, understanding veterinary clinic workflows, and translating insights into product improvements
• Experience writing detailed product requirement documents, leading sprint planning and backlog grooming, and managing complex product launches with operational rigor
