📋 Description

• Lead end-to-end development of Jerry.ai’s AI platform and customer experiences, from roadmap creation to full-scale rollout, focusing on automating car ownership services using LLMs, agents, and internal APIs.
• Partner with engineering teams to design prompt strategies, evaluation frameworks, and guardrails that balance latency, cost, and accuracy in AI-driven customer interactions.
• Serve as the technical translator between engineering and cross-functional teams, establishing AI best practices and platform standards across the organization.
• Drive systematic improvements in answer quality, customer satisfaction, and automation rates through rigorous experimentation and data-backed decision-making.
• Work directly with OpenAI partners to evaluate, integrate, and deploy next-generation voice models and workflow automation capabilities into the ChatGPT App.
• Manage a system that already automates over 70% of inbound sales and service requests—processing more than 50,000 chats per month—with the goal of scaling automation further.
• Translate complex technical concepts about API design, system architecture, and LLM behavior into clear, actionable insights for non-technical stakeholders.
• Own high-impact metrics related to automation efficiency, customer experience, and AI performance, using data to validate hypotheses and guide product direction.
• Build and scale a production-grade AI platform that redefines how consumers interact with car ownership services, including insurance, financing, maintenance, and safety.
• Contribute to shaping the future of agentic AI by pioneering new model capabilities and human-in-the-loop feedback systems within a real-world, high-volume application.
• Maintain deep familiarity with release notes and advancements in LLM technology, applying emerging capabilities to enhance product functionality and user outcomes.
• Navigate technical tradeoffs in AI implementation, prioritizing scalability, reliability, and user impact while leading by example in adopting platform standards.
• Collaborate across product, engineering, and operations to ensure seamless integration of AI systems into Jerry.ai’s super app, which serves over 5 million customers.
• Apply SQL and data analysis skills to independently investigate performance trends, identify optimization opportunities, and measure the impact of AI changes on business outcomes.
• Champion a culture of continuous improvement by fostering a "how can we" mindset focused on solving real-world problems with innovative, AI-powered solutions.

🎯 Requirements

• 4+ years of experience in management consulting or technical product management at a fast-paced startup
• Proven interest in and hands-on experience with modern LLM systems
• Ability to navigate technical tradeoffs and lead by example when implementing AI platform standards
• A track record of turning complex, strategic ideas into scalable, production-grade products
• Intrinsically motivated technologist who actively builds custom AI workflows and stays current with model releases
• Comfort with technical conversations around API design and system architecture, and ability to translate them for diverse audiences
