Full Job Description
📋 Description
- • Architect and steward the product strategy for Traba’s AI agent platform designed to autonomously execute workflows within industrial supply chain operations.
- • Design and ship production-grade AI agents that reason through ambiguous workflows, orchestrate tools, maintain context across tasks, and perform meaningful work on behalf of users in light industrial environments.
- • Embed directly with enterprise customers to observe, understand, and validate real-world operational workflows in manufacturing and logistics facilities.
- • Write detailed product requirements and collaborate closely with product engineers, ML teams, and early design partners to define system behavior, evaluation criteria, and quality frameworks.
- • Rapidly prototype and iterate on AI agent capabilities in response to evolving model architectures, reliability tradeoffs, and capability cliffs in the underlying AI ecosystem.
- • Use customer data and system evaluations to uncover patterns, answer product-critical questions, and drive decisions around agent performance and user impact.
- • Define and implement evaluation systems that measure agent reliability, accuracy, and effectiveness in executing complex, multi-step operational tasks.
- • Visualize and communicate complex system behaviors—spanning technical architecture, agent decision-making, and user experience—to stakeholders across engineering, leadership, and customer teams.
- • Socialize product vision and progress across departments, synthesizing feedback from engineering, operations, design, and customers to refine product direction.
- • Operate in a 0-to-1 environment with no existing playbook, requiring the creation of structures, processes, and feedback loops from scratch.
- • Navigate rapidly changing assumptions about AI model capabilities, frequently adjusting product scope, requirements, and success metrics in response to new model releases or performance shifts.
- • Partner with ML engineers to understand model evaluations, interpret system limitations, and co-design solutions that balance technical feasibility with customer needs.
- • Build products that go beyond chat interfaces or copilots, focusing on autonomous agents that take meaningful, independent actions within customer workflows.
- • Drive product-market fit by launching, killing, and pivoting ideas based on direct customer feedback and operational data from millions of shifts.
- • Maintain deep technical fluency to engage as a peer with engineering and ML teams, participating in technical design discussions and prototyping ideas without requiring hand-holding.
- • Work onsite five days per week in New York City to enable real-time collaboration with founders, engineers, and early adopter customers.
- • Build a category-defining AI platform that transforms how light industrial supply chains operate by leveraging proprietary data from millions of shifts and deep enterprise integrations.
🎯 Requirements
- • 5–7 years of experience as a Product Manager
- • Evidence of launching customer-facing AI products where the system took meaningful autonomous actions on behalf of users
- • Experience building AI-native agent systems that orchestrate tools, maintain context, and execute workflows—not just chat interfaces or LLM wrappers
- • Strong technical ability to work deeply with engineering and ML teams, including reading evaluations and reasoning through system tradeoffs
- • Proven experience operating in highly ambiguous startup environments with rapid iteration cycles
- • Hands-on experience building with modern AI systems and deep familiarity with evolving model capabilities
