📋 Description

• As a Senior Product Manager for AI Developer Experience at Airwallex, you will lead the strategy and execution of innovative AI-powered tools that simplify how developers integrate with Airwallex’s global payments and financial platform, directly enabling faster, more reliable product development for over 200,000 businesses worldwide.
• You will own the end-to-end lifecycle of AI developer tools such as the Developer MCP tool, agent development toolkits, and integrations with platforms like Cursor, Claude Code, and N8N, ensuring they reduce friction, increase adoption, and empower developers to build with confidence in complex financial workflows.
• Your day-to-day will involve defining and evolving the product roadmap based on emerging trends in AI-assisted development, analyzing gaps in current Client APIs, SDKs, documentation, Webhooks, Simulation APIs, and the developer portal, then translating insights into prioritized features that solve real developer pain points.
• You will act as the primary advocate for the developer community, engaging through technical content, events, and feedback loops to drive awareness, adoption, and loyalty — turning developers into champions of Airwallex’s platform.
• You will collaborate closely with engineering, design, and go-to-market teams across San Francisco, Melbourne, and other global offices, facilitating technical discussions, aligning on architecture, and ensuring product decisions balance user needs with commercial viability and scalability.
• You will communicate complex technical strategies clearly to executives, sales, and support teams using data-driven narratives and first-principle reasoning, ensuring alignment across functions and securing buy-in for ambitious initiatives.
• You will own metrics that matter — adoption rates, time-to-first-successful-integration, NPS among developers, and reduction in support tickets — using them to iterate rapidly and prove the impact of your AI-driven developer experience initiatives.

🎯 Requirements

• 6+ years of professional experience in product management, with proven success in Developer Experience, API platforms, or highly technical B2B SaaS products.
• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related STEM field; advanced degrees or certifications in AI/ML, HCI, or developer tools are a plus.
• Deep familiarity with modern AI-assisted development tools (e.g., Cursor, Claude Code, GitHub Copilot, N8N, LangChain) and trends in AI agent orchestration, MCP, and LLM-powered workflows.
• Excellent communication and storytelling skills, with demonstrated ability to translate complex technical concepts for both engineering and non-technical stakeholders (executives, sales, support).
• Proven track record of driving developer adoption, community engagement, and advocacy through content, events, or open-source initiatives.
• Strong analytical mindset: ability to dissect complex problems using data, first-principles thinking, and metrics to guide prioritization and trade-offs.
