- • Lead the end-to-end product development of Nightfall’s AI security platform with coverage across SaaS applications, generative AI tools, endpoints (macOS, Windows), and major browser platforms.
- • Define and track success metrics including agent deployment rates, detection accuracy, remediation rates, exfiltration prevention rates, and system performance to minimize user friction.
- • Collaborate directly with engineering teams on sprint planning, backlog prioritization, and release timelines to ensure predictable and high-quality product delivery.
- • Identify competitive gaps in rival solutions regarding endpoint coverage, AI app integration, and agentic workflows to build clear product differentiators.
- • Document technical product capabilities with precision for sales engineering, support teams, and customers, including architecture diagrams, deployment guides, and integration workflows.
- • Partner with Sales Engineering and Customer Success during proof-of-value engagements and customer deployments to drive successful evaluation, adoption, and retention.
- • Present product capabilities, technical differentiators, and security value propositions directly to CISOs, SecOps teams, and technical stakeholders across enterprise and AI-innovator customer segments.
- • Ship MVPs rapidly, gather real-world feedback, and iterate on features based on usage data and customer input—prioritizing speed and impact over perfection.
- • Translate complex security requirements from technical teams into clear, actionable product specifications that align engineering output with customer needs.
- • Act as a bridge between customer-facing teams and product development, understanding workflows of sales engineering and customer success to enable deal closure and renewal success.
- • Operate autonomously in a high-ambiguity startup environment, making prioritization decisions with limited data and evolving market demands.
- • Troubleshoot agent-level issues, assist with customer deployment challenges, and contribute to knowledge base articles and customer education materials as needed.
- • Maintain deep familiarity with endpoint security constraints, browser extension architecture, and cloud-to-endpoint integration patterns across macOS and Windows platforms.
- • Stay current on AI app behaviors, agentic workflows, and emerging compliance frameworks that shape data loss prevention (DLP) requirements.
- • Apply understanding of ML/AI-based detection systems to inform feature design, tuning, and evaluation of automated classification and remediation capabilities.
- • Drive product strategy by aligning technical execution with market needs in AI-native data loss prevention, ensuring Nightfall remains the platform of choice for securing sensitive data in modern cloud and AI environments.
🎯 Requirements
- • 4 to 6 years of product management experience at a SaaS startup with a highly technical product.
- • Comfortable joining customer calls, demos, and technical discussions; able to speak credibly about product functionality and resolve deployment issues.
- • Experience working closely with sales engineering and customer success teams to support deal wins and customer retention.
- • Strong communication skills and ability to translate technical security requirements into clear product specifications.
- • Bias for action: proven track record of shipping fast, iterating on feedback, and thriving in ambiguous, rapidly changing environments.
- • Entrepreneurial mindset: willing to do whatever it takes to ensure customer success, including troubleshooting, documentation, and hands-on support.
