📋 Description

• As Senior Product Manager, AI Therapy at Ritual Inc., you will own the strategic and tactical execution of how artificial intelligence integrates with clinical expertise to redefine relationship therapy through the company’s Continuous Therapy model. This role is pivotal in shaping a first-of-its-kind product that blends human therapeutic depth with AI-driven continuity, directly impacting how users experience emotional support between sessions. You will be responsible for ensuring that every AI interaction is not only technically robust but also clinically valid, emotionally resonant, and safe — turning Ritual’s unique dataset of annotated couples therapy into a living, intelligent layer that enhances therapeutic outcomes.
• On a day-to-day basis, you will: define and own the AI therapy product surface including conversational flows, tone, behavioral rules, guardrails, and prompt engineering for between-session support; design how AI manifests across key user moments such as emotional processing, conversation preparation, reflections, and personalized guidance; lead the end-to-end delivery of user-facing AI experiences from specification through launch, ensuring they feel warm, safe, and grounded in clinical practice; partner with the clinical lead and therapist network to validate all AI behaviors before user exposure, translating therapeutic frameworks into actionable product specs; architect the intelligence layer that extracts structured relationship context from therapy session data — including confidence scoring, lifecycle management, and recommendation systems — to make AI interactions feel informed by the couple’s journey; build and refine content recommendation and insight delivery systems that adapt to user needs over time; identify and develop novel AI-powered experiences such as adaptive insights, therapist-facing tools, and new modes of support through rapid POCs with real users, defining acceptance criteria and measuring outcomes; collaborate closely with AI engineers, designers, and clinical stakeholders to align AI capabilities with human-centered product goals; and contribute to the broader AI therapy strategy in partnership with founders and clinical leadership, helping define the future of tech-enabled relationship support.
• You will join a mission-driven, fast-growing team at Ritual Inc., a pre-Series A startup that has achieved product-market fit in digital relationship therapy by combining expert-led sessions with AI-powered continuity. The company boasts over 200 expert therapists on its platform and possesses the largest dataset of clinically-annotated couples therapy sessions in the world — a proprietary asset that fuels its AI innovation. Ritual operates with a builder’s mindset, where cross-functional collaboration is essential and every team member is expected to operate with high autonomy, deep curiosity, and a commitment to clinical integrity. The Tel Aviv-based team works onsite to foster tight alignment between product, engineering, design, and clinical teams, ensuring that innovation is both rigorous and human-centered.
• In this role, you will have the rare opportunity to shape an entirely new category — continuous, AI-augmented therapy — by working with data and clinical insights unavailable anywhere else. 🎯 Requirements

• 5+ years of product management experience in consumer products with demonstrable hands-on experience in AI/ML, including LLM-based product work such as prompt engineering, model behavior tuning, and shipping AI systems that require high safety and reliability.
• Proven ability to write clear, detailed specifications that translate complex behavioral, clinical, and technical requirements into actionable, buildable definitions for engineering and design teams.
• Strong cross-functional fluency, with comfort engaging deeply with AI engineers on architectural decisions, clinicians on therapeutic frameworks, and designers on user experience — capable of synthesizing diverse perspectives into cohesive product direction.
