- • Own the end-to-end product lifecycle for one or more high-impact areas of Canary’s AI-powered hospitality platform—spanning guest communication, digital check-in, payments, upsells, and emerging product lines—defining vision, strategy, roadmap, and measurable success metrics that directly influence revenue and customer delight for 20,000+ hoteliers in 100+ countries.
- • Translate complex, cross-functional business requirements and nuanced customer pain points into crisp product requirements, detailed user stories, and acceptance criteria that Engineering and Design can execute against in two-week agile sprints, ensuring every release moves the needle on adoption, retention, and NPS.
- • Lead discovery and validation through qualitative interviews, quantitative data analysis, A/B tests, and competitive benchmarking with hotel brands such as Wyndham, Marriott, IHG, Four Seasons, Rosewood, and Best Western; synthesize findings into actionable insights that prioritize the highest-value bets on the roadmap.
- • Collaborate daily with globally distributed Engineering, Design, Sales, Customer Success, and Marketing teams across APAC, EMEA, and Americas time zones, orchestrating asynchronous stand-ups, design reviews, and go-to-market planning to ship intuitive, scalable, and reliable features that scale to millions of guest interactions.
- • Drive go-to-market excellence by crafting positioning, pricing, and launch playbooks; enable Sales with battle cards, Customer Success with training assets, and Marketing with launch campaigns that accelerate pipeline velocity and feature adoption within 90 days of release.
- • Establish and monitor OKRs, KPI dashboards, and cohort analyses that track feature usage, conversion rates, upsell revenue, and guest satisfaction; iterate ruthlessly based on data, customer feedback, and market shifts to maintain Canary’s position as a Deloitte Technology Fast 500™ and Fast Company Most Innovative Company.
- • Mentor and up-level junior product managers by instituting best practices in user-story writing, roadmap prioritization frameworks (RICE, MoSCoW), and stakeholder communication, while contributing to the evolution of Canary’s product culture, rituals, and documentation.
- • Champion a hospitality-first mindset—immerse yourself in hotel operations, shadow front-desk workflows, and attend industry conferences—to ensure every product decision reflects real-world constraints and opportunities, ultimately helping hoteliers work smarter and wow their guests.
- • Navigate a high-growth, fast-paced environment where priorities can pivot quickly; demonstrate resilience and clarity by re-scoping roadmaps, reallocating resources, and communicating trade-offs transparently to executives and customers alike.
- • Represent Canary as a thought leader by speaking at webinars, publishing product updates, and gathering voice-of-customer insights that feed back into the roadmap, reinforcing trust with global brands and positioning Canary as the definitive AI platform for modern hospitality.
