  • • You will be instrumental in shaping the future of auto care, transforming it from a confusing and untrusted experience into one that is clear, guided, and reliable for the average driver.
  • • Your primary mission will be to develop and enhance features that empower users to understand, diagnose, and resolve car issues with confidence and ease.
  • • This includes overseeing the strategy and execution for key GarageGuard functionalities such as in-app diagnostics, proactive recall and maintenance alerts, a curated shop finder, transparent repair estimates, car valuation tools, and a comprehensive digital glovebox for vehicle records.
  • • You will collaborate intimately with a high-caliber team of product managers, world-class engineers, sharp data scientists, and talented designers and researchers to tackle tangible user problems and build features that deliver significant, measurable impact.

  • • A core aspect of your role will be to drive substantial improvements in user engagement and onboarding across GarageGuard's suite of services by designing and implementing intuitive, frictionless, and polished user experiences.

  • • You will strategically leverage cutting-edge AI technologies to make GarageGuard faster, more insightful, and exceptionally helpful, providing users with unparalleled clarity and support.
  • • You will be responsible for mapping out and optimizing end-to-end user journeys, from the initial identification of a car symptom or alert through to the successful booking of a repair shop, identifying and eliminating moments of confusion, anxiety, or user drop-off.
  • • This role requires a proactive approach to user research, encompassing both qualitative and quantitative methodologies, coupled with the ability to rapidly prototype concepts with the Design team.
  • • You will translate research findings and user insights into elegant, shippable product solutions, rigorously validating their effectiveness through A/B testing and usability studies.
  • • Setting and maintaining a high bar for user experience quality – focusing on clarity, speed, consistency, and accessibility – will be paramount, working closely with Engineering and Design to instrument, measure, and iterate on all product initiatives.
  • • You will be a key voice in defining the product vision and roadmap for GarageGuard, ensuring alignment with Jerry's overall mission and business objectives.
  • • This role demands a blend of strategic thinking, creative problem-solving, and meticulous execution, with a constant focus on delivering exceptional value to our users.

🎯 Requirements

  • • Minimum of 5 years of experience in consumer product management, with a proven track record of delivering impactful products in the consumer tech space.
  • • Demonstrated experience partnering closely with Product Design/Research teams and a strong portfolio showcasing consumer-grade polish on mobile or web applications.
  • • Exceptional analytical skills with a data-driven mindset, comfortable diving deep into data to uncover insights and inform product decisions, while also possessing the conviction to make informed decisions with incomplete information.
  • • Strong UI/UX instincts and a deep empathy for consumer needs, with a refined sense for product craft and user experience quality.
  • • Experience with or a strong interest in leveraging AI/ML technologies to enhance consumer products.
  • • Ability to thrive in ambiguity, tackle complex challenges with innovative solutions, and demonstrate a tenacious, ownership-driven mindset in a fast-paced, high-stakes environment.
