📋 Description

• Lead the end-to-end strategy for consumer-facing AI initiatives within Quora’s core product experience, focusing on creating and scaling high-quality AI-powered content experiences that drive meaningful user engagement.
• Define and establish content quality standards, evaluation frameworks, and guardrails centered on engagement, quality, and trust to guide prioritization and measure success of AI-driven features.
• Partner closely with engineering, design, data science, and product operations teams to define, build, iterate, and scale AI-powered experiences across Quora’s platform.
• Run structured experiments to optimize feed allocation and performance, leveraging both quantitative data and qualitative user insights to inform product decisions and roadmap direction.
• Manage ambiguity and cross-functional interdependencies in a fast-paced environment, taking ownership of complex product challenges and driving solutions to completion.
• Interface regularly with product leadership and the executive team to align AI initiatives with overall company strategy and long-term platform vision.
• Stay current with advancements in Generative AI, including new language models and capabilities, to continuously refine product capabilities and anticipate future technological opportunities.
• Own the strategic direction for AI-powered content experiences, ensuring alignment between technical feasibility, user needs, and business objectives.
• Use qualitative and quantitative data to drive product decisions, translating user feedback, behavioral metrics, and experimental results into actionable product improvements.
• Communicate effectively across all levels — within cross-functional teams, company-wide, to users, and to external audiences — to articulate vision, progress, and rationale behind product choices.
• Balance rapid experimentation with responsible rollout of AI features, ensuring ethical, transparent, and trustworthy user experiences.
• Collaborate with data scientists to define success metrics and interpret outcomes from model performance, user behavior, and content quality assessments.
• Contribute to the evolution of Quora’s product roadmap by identifying high-impact opportunities where AI can enhance knowledge sharing and user connection.
• Maintain alignment with Quora’s mission to grow the world’s collective intelligence by ensuring AI experiences enrich, rather than dilute, the quality of public discourse.
• Work remotely within Quora’s eligible countries and be available for meetings and impromptu communication during Quora’s coordination hours (Mon–Fri, 9am–3pm Pacific Time).

🎯 Requirements

• 6+ years combined experience in Product Management
• Availability for meetings and impromptu communication during Quora’s coordination hours (Mon–Fri: 9am–3pm Pacific Time)
• Excellent communication skills and intuition for communication strategy across teams, company, users, and external audiences
• Demonstrated ability to use qualitative and quantitative data to drive decisions and scale products through experimentation
• Experience working on user-generated content (UGC) platforms, marketplaces, aggregators, or content-driven consumer products
• Experience with AI-powered content creation or AI-driven content experiences
