• In this strategic position, you will be instrumental in shaping the future of payments by creating world-class products that integrate stablecoins as a fundamental component of our clients' operational frameworks. Your mandate will encompass the end-to-end development of robust on-ramp and off-ramp solutions, enabling seamless pay-ins and pay-outs for businesses operating in the dynamic emerging markets where dLocal excels. You will be at the forefront of innovation, driving the adoption of crypto-based payment flows that handle significant real-world transaction volumes for major global brands.
• Your responsibilities will extend beyond mere product development; you will be a key strategist, identifying market opportunities, defining product roadmaps, and collaborating closely with engineering, design, marketing, sales, and compliance teams to bring your vision to life. You will conduct in-depth market research, analyze competitor landscapes, and engage directly with customers to understand their evolving needs and pain points related to cryptocurrency payments. This includes delving into the intricacies of regulatory requirements, risk management, and the technical complexities inherent in the crypto space.
• You will translate complex business requirements into detailed product specifications, user stories, and acceptance criteria, ensuring that our engineering teams have clear direction to build high-quality, scalable, and secure solutions. A significant part of your role will involve defining and tracking key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure product success, iterating based on data-driven insights, and continuously optimizing the user experience for both our merchants and their end-customers.
• The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of blockchain technology, various cryptocurrency protocols, and the nuances of stablecoins. Experience with payment gateways, financial technology (FinTech), and cross-border payments is highly desirable. You will need to navigate the complexities of the crypto landscape, including understanding different blockchain networks, smart contract functionalities, and the associated security considerations.
• You will champion the crypto product vision across the organization, educating internal stakeholders and external partners on the value proposition and operational aspects of our stablecoin solutions. This includes developing go-to-market strategies, supporting sales enablement, and ensuring that our products meet the highest standards of reliability, security, and compliance within the rapidly evolving regulatory environment.

• Your day-to-day will involve a blend of strategic thinking and tactical execution. You'll be defining the product backlog, prioritizing features, conducting user interviews, analyzing transaction data, and working hand-in-hand with development teams during sprints. You will also be responsible for understanding and mitigating risks associated with crypto transactions, ensuring compliance with AML/KYC regulations, and staying ahead of market trends and technological advancements in the blockchain and cryptocurrency space.
• Ultimately, you will be the voice of the customer for our crypto offerings, ensuring that dLocal provides the most effective, secure, and user-friendly stablecoin payment solutions available, empowering businesses to unlock new opportunities and expand their reach across the globe.

🎯 Requirements

• Proven experience as a Product Manager, with a strong track record of launching and scaling successful products, preferably in FinTech, payments, or a related technology sector.
• Deep understanding of cryptocurrency, blockchain technology, stablecoins, and the broader digital asset ecosystem. Familiarity with on-ramp/off-ramp mechanisms and payment flows.
• Experience in defining product strategy, roadmapping, and translating business needs into detailed product requirements and user stories.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex data and market trends to make informed product decisions.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams (engineering, design, marketing, sales, legal, compliance) and external stakeholders.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business, Finance, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
