📋 Description

• Own the end-to-end roadmap and execution for Socure’s Document Verification (DocV) platform, focusing on the forensic engine, decisioning logic, and computer vision models that detect document fraud, injection attacks, and AI-generated content.
• Partner with Data Science to define, evaluate, and improve model performance across key fraud vectors including deepfakes, document manipulation, and synthetic identity attacks.
• Identify gaps in detection coverage and drive development of new signals across image, video, and device layers to enhance fraud detection accuracy.
• Design and evolve scalable, configurable decisioning frameworks that translate model outputs into actionable risk outcomes tailored to diverse customer profiles and use cases.
• Balance fraud detection performance with user experience and conversion rates, ensuring optimal tradeoffs between false positives and business impact.
• Work directly with high-value customers in financial services, government, and emerging markets to understand fraud patterns, edge cases, and operational needs, translating feedback into product improvements.
• Support complex customer implementations and serve as the primary subject matter expert on DocV decisioning logic and forensic capabilities.
• Collaborate with Engineering and Data Science teams to translate product requirements into technical specifications and ensure timely, high-quality execution.
• Partner with Fraud Investigation, Customer Success, and Sales teams to align product behavior with customer outcomes and go-to-market strategies.
• Use SQL and analytics tools to evaluate model precision, recall, decisioning outcomes, and conversion impact, conducting deep dives into emerging fraud attack vectors.
• Define, track, and report on key metrics related to fraud detection rates, model performance, and user experience KPIs.
• Support product launches and enhancements with clear positioning, documentation, and enablement materials for internal teams and customers.
• Drive cross-functional alignment on tradeoffs between detection accuracy, false positive rates, and business objectives across global markets.
• Contribute to global scaling efforts for DocV, including expansion into public sector and international markets with varying regulatory and identity verification standards.
• Communicate complex technical concepts clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders, including executives, customers, and support teams.
• Maintain deep curiosity about evolving fraud tactics and proactively anticipate new attack vectors before they scale.
• Act as an owner of product outcomes, prioritizing initiatives based on impact, feasibility, and customer value in a fast-paced, high-stakes environment.

🎯 Requirements

• 3–5 years of product management experience, preferably in identity verification, fraud prevention, or ML-driven products
• Strong understanding of APIs, SQL queries, databases, and product architecture
• Experience working closely with machine learning models, including understanding model outputs, evaluation metrics, and tradeoffs
• Familiarity with fraud detection techniques, identity verification flows, or risk-based decisioning systems
• Comfortable using data and analytics tools (e.g., SQL) to derive insights and inform product decisions
• Proven ability to work cross-functionally with Engineering, Data Science, and go-to-market teams
