• • As a Senior Product Manager for Enterprise Applications at Coinbase, you will be at the forefront of shaping the future of our financial systems, driving automation and efficiency across the organization.
• • Your primary mission will be to enhance our enterprise applications, with a strong focus on our ERP system (NetSuite) and other critical financial technologies like Zip and Workiva, to support the rapid growth and evolving needs of Coinbase.
• • You will act as the central subject matter expert for finance business processes and financial systems, bridging the gap between business requirements and technical solutions.
• • This role demands a strategic thinker who can deeply understand current finance/accounting operations, identify areas for improvement, and translate these into actionable technical roadmaps and product strategies.
• • You will collaborate closely with finance and accounting stakeholders to meticulously define business requirements, ensuring that proposed technical solutions are scalable, robust, and aligned with Coinbase's ambitious growth trajectory.
• • A key responsibility will be to analyze existing business processes, conduct thorough fit/gap analyses, and articulate complex business needs into clear, concise technical specifications for engineering teams.
• • You will partner with other Product Managers and Business System Analysts to design and implement optimal technology solutions that drive significant improvements in finance business process efficiency.
• • A core part of your contribution will involve partnering with finance stakeholders to execute the product roadmap for NetSuite, Zip, Workiva, and other essential financial applications.
• • You are expected to possess and demonstrate a strong command of NetSuite's capabilities, particularly in key financial processes such as General Ledger Accounting, Financial Reporting, Procure-to-Pay, and Order-to-Cash cycles.
• • You will be responsible for creating essential product management artifacts, including detailed Functional Specifications, Data Flow Diagrams, and Business Process Mapping Diagrams, to ensure clarity and alignment across teams.
• • Your role will involve identifying and designing scalable solutions within NetSuite and other applications, which may include configuring customizations, developing workflows, implementing automations, designing integrations, and building sophisticated reporting solutions.
• • You will foster strong collaborative relationships with business system analysts and engineers across various teams to ensure the successful development and implementation of automations and technical solutions.
• • A critical aspect of the role includes developing and executing comprehensive test plans for new features, and leading integration and user acceptance testing (UAT) with cross-functional teams to ensure quality and functionality.
• • You will be instrumental in troubleshooting and resolving production issues, effectively prioritizing them against the existing backlog based on their severity and business impact.
• • You will actively support business process transformation initiatives aimed at enhancing efficiencies in critical financial activities, such as Month-End Close processes and Financial Reporting.
• • Conducting solution walkthroughs, application demonstrations, and user training sessions will be essential to ensure successful adoption and understanding of new systems and features.
• • You will also contribute to change management efforts by developing and maintaining essential documentation, including runbooks, to support ongoing operations and knowledge transfer.
