Full Job Description

đź“‹ Description

  • • As a Senior Product Manager - Fraud at JustPlay, you will be at the forefront of protecting our vibrant loyalty gaming ecosystem. Your primary mission will be to design, implement, and continuously optimize innovative systems that detect and prevent fraud, thereby safeguarding our players and preserving the integrity of our platform. This is a critical role that demands a strategic mindset, a deep understanding of digital threats, and the ability to translate complex challenges into actionable product solutions.
  • • You will take full ownership of defining and executing our fraud prevention strategies. This involves meticulously identifying potential risks at every stage of the user journey, from the initial onboarding process, through ongoing engagement, and all the way to the payout phase. Your proactive approach will be key to anticipating and mitigating threats before they impact our users or our business.
  • • A core responsibility will be to develop and deploy sophisticated real-time detection mechanisms. This includes leveraging advanced anomaly detection techniques and implementing proactive interventions to swiftly address and neutralize malicious behavior, account takeovers, and various forms of abuse that could compromise user accounts or platform fairness.
  • • You will be instrumental in fostering seamless collaboration across multiple departments. This includes working closely with our talented data science teams to build and refine predictive models, partnering with engineering to ensure robust and scalable technical solutions, aligning with operations to establish efficient response workflows, and collaborating with UX designers to ensure that our fraud prevention measures are as user-friendly as possible.
  • • You will define, track, and drive improvements on key performance indicators (KPIs) crucial to fraud management. This encompasses metrics such as the rate of false positives (legitimate users flagged as fraudulent), chargeback rates, the velocity at which fraudulent activities occur, and user friction metrics. Your focus will be on continuous optimization to strike the right balance between security and user experience.
  • • Integrating A/B testing and iterative validation will be a fundamental part of your process. You will design and measure the impact of experiments to continuously refine our detection models, improve the accuracy of our fraud alerts, and enhance the effectiveness of user intervention flows, ensuring our defenses remain cutting-edge.
  • • You will play a vital role in influencing product design at a foundational level. By embedding fraud-resilient principles into new features and user flows, you will help create experiences that are inherently more secure, while simultaneously minimizing any unnecessary friction for our legitimate and valued players.
  • • Staying ahead of the curve is paramount. You will be expected to maintain a keen awareness of global fraud trends, particularly within the mobile gaming, ad revenue-based platforms, and fintech sectors. This knowledge will be crucial for keeping our fraud prevention strategies innovative, effective, and resilient against evolving threats.
  • • This role offers a unique opportunity to shape the future of trust and safety within a rapidly growing and profitable company. You will have the autonomy to build end-to-end solutions, operate with the agility of a startup, and deliver impactful work that reaches millions of users worldwide. Your contributions will directly support JustPlay's mission to foster a fairer, more sustainable Play-to-Earn ecosystem where players truly earn real value for their time.

🎯 Requirements

  • • Minimum of 4 years of product management experience, with a significant focus on fraud prevention, risk management, or trust and safety within digital platforms.
  • • Deep expertise in at least one of the following domains: ADtech (e.g., attribution, measurement platforms, ad networks) or real money gaming (e.g., casino, poker, sports betting).
  • • Demonstrated ability to leverage data-driven insights, metrics, and behavioral analytics to reduce fraud while optimizing user experience.
  • • Proficiency in designing, implementing, and measuring the impact of A/B tests specifically within risk and fraud scenarios.
  • • Strong cross-functional collaboration skills, with a proven track record of working effectively with engineers, analysts, and operations teams to drive the implementation of scalable fraud solutions.
  • • Excellent problem-solving mindset, strong analytical orientation, and exceptional communication skills.

🏖️ Benefits

  • • Flexible working hours and options for digital nomads, occasional office visitors, or regular office-goers, promoting excellent Work-Life Balance.
  • • Opportunity to join our Virtual Share Option Program (VSOP) and share in the success of a profitable company.
  • • Free personal coaching through our partner nilo.health for mental health support and overall well-being.
  • • A competitive personal development budget of up to €2000 per year for training, conferences, and workshops, plus free language courses with Chatterbug.
  • • Germany-Based Benefits: 25 vacation days, free Gympass gold subscription, free monthly Deutschland-Ticket, and a monthly €50 tax-free internet contribution.
  • • State-of-the-art technical equipment provided, regardless of preference for MacBook or Windows.
  • • Relocation Package including visa support for those who require it.
  • • Berlin Office Perks: Ergonomic setup, free daily lunch, and a dog-friendly environment (for those in or near Berlin).
