đź“‹ Description
- • As a Senior Product Manager, Customer Integrations at Remote Technologies Inc., you will be instrumental in shaping the future of global employment by building a robust and thriving ecosystem of integrations and strategic partnerships. This role sits at the critical nexus of product strategy and business development, empowering you to not only define the technical 'how' of our integrations but also to drive the strategic 'who' and 'why' behind them. Your mission is to ensure that businesses of all sizes can seamlessly manage their international teams, from recruitment to payroll and performance, without ever leaving their preferred operational tools.
- • You will be the architect of Remote's integration strategy, meticulously crafting a roadmap that harmonizes technical scalability with ambitious commercial growth objectives. This involves identifying high-impact partnership opportunities, actively pitching the Remote platform to potential external stakeholders, and spearheading the development of the technical bridges that enable seamless data synchronization and workflow automation.
- • A key facet of this role involves strategic business development. You will collaborate closely with our Go-To-Market (GTM) and Sales teams to identify, vet, and onboard high-value integration partners across various categories, including Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS), Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems, productivity tools, and user provisioning platforms. Your ability to understand the needs of these diverse partners and align them with Remote's strategic vision will be paramount.
- • You will serve as the technical evangelist for Remote, acting as the primary point of contact in partner discussions. This requires you to clearly and compellingly articulate the value proposition of integrating with Remote to external product and engineering leaders, fostering strong relationships and mutual understanding.
- • Designing 'win-win' integration solutions is central to your responsibilities. You will work collaboratively with partners to co-design integration flows that deliver tangible, mutual value, ensuring that the final product drives high adoption rates for both Remote and our partners, thereby strengthening the entire ecosystem.
- • Leading technical discovery and data mapping sessions will be a core activity. You will delve deep into partner API capabilities, including REST APIs, Webhooks, and OAuth, to ensure robust, secure, and compliant data synchronization across global jurisdictions. This requires a keen eye for detail and a strong understanding of data architecture and security protocols.
- • You will act as the central orchestrator, bridging the gap between various internal teams including Engineering, Design, Sales, GTM, and Customer Experience (CX). Your role is to ensure that every integration is not only technically sound but also commercially successful, meeting the needs of our customers and partners alike.
- • Staying ahead of the curve in market intelligence is crucial. You will continuously monitor industry trends, identify emerging players, and assess their potential as strategic partners for Remote, ensuring our integration strategy remains cutting-edge and competitive.
- • Measuring the Return on Investment (ROI) of our integration ecosystem is a critical responsibility. You will establish and track key performance indicators (KPIs) that go beyond technical performance, focusing on tangible business outcomes such as partner-sourced leads, enhanced customer retention, and overall ecosystem revenue growth.
- • This role demands a blend of technical acumen, strategic thinking, and strong interpersonal skills. You will leverage your expertise to drive product adoption, expand market reach, and solidify Remote's position as a leader in the global employment solutions space. Your work will directly contribute to Remote’s market expansion and long-term defensibility by creating a sticky and valuable ecosystem for our customers.
- • By fostering a collaborative environment and driving innovation, you will help build best-in-class HR solutions that empower businesses to navigate the complexities of international employment with unprecedented ease and compliance. Your ability to translate complex technical concepts into clear business value will be key to your success and the success of the integration program.
🎯 Requirements
- • Senior-level experience as a Product Manager with a strong focus on Integrations, APIs, or Platform ecosystems.
- • Proficiency in Cursor and/or Claude Code, with the ability to autonomously build, debug, and ship functional code/prototypes, not just write specifications.
- • Proven ability to think commercially ('Product-Biz' Mindset), understanding how integrations impact the bottom line and communicating effectively with both developers and business executives.
- • Experience in a partner-facing role, with demonstrated ability to build rapport and negotiate technical/functional scope with external organizations.
- • Deep familiarity with REST APIs, Webhooks, and authentication protocols (e.g., OAuth), with the ability to quickly evaluate partner documentation for security and scalability.
- • Strong UX sensibilities and a passion for creating low-friction user experiences, even for complex technical integrations.
- • Domain expertise in global HR/Payroll tools (e.g., Workday, HiBob, Greenhouse, Netsuite) is a significant advantage.
- • Business-level proficiency in written and spoken English.
🏖️ Benefits
- • Work from anywhere in the world.
- • Flexible paid time off.
- • Flexible working hours, supporting an asynchronous work culture.
- • 16 weeks paid parental leave.
- • Mental health support services.
- • Stock options.
- • Learning budget for professional development.
- • Home office budget and IT equipment allowance.
- • Budget for local in-person social events or co-working spaces.
