Full Job Description
📋 Description
- • Own and evolve Traba’s staffing product at the center of its two-sided marketplace, directly impacting supply of light industrial workers and demand from enterprise customers in warehouses and manufacturing facilities.
- • Architect product strategy for critical workflows including worker matching, fulfillment, supply/demand balancing, and marketplace liquidity to ensure operational efficiency at scale.
- • Collaborate with engineering, design, data, operations, and field teams to translate complex operational realities into scalable product systems that improve productivity and customer outcomes.
- • Write detailed product requirements and partner closely with engineering to build, test, and ship solutions that address real-world constraints faced by warehouse managers and contingent workers.
- • Use data to uncover hidden patterns in millions of shifts and translate insights into product improvements that enhance matching quality, reduce fulfillment gaps, and increase worker retention.
- • Design and iterate internal operational tooling and technical systems that empower field and operations teams to manage logistics, worker deployment, and customer coordination more effectively.
- • Launch and iterate products across multiple regions and operational environments, adapting solutions to regional labor laws, facility layouts, and enterprise procurement processes.
- • Engage directly with customers and workers on-site to understand pain points, validate assumptions, and ground product decisions in firsthand operational truth.
- • Prototype solutions rapidly—building code, internal agents, or mock systems—to test ideas before formal spec writing, demonstrating an AI-native approach to product development.
- • Balance competing priorities between enterprise customers (with layered stakeholder structures and long sales cycles) and independent workers (driven by reliability, pay, and schedule flexibility).
- • Visualize and communicate complex workflows, systems, and product strategies to cross-functional teams and leadership, synthesizing feedback from product, sales, operations, and customer success.
- • Drive marketplace health by designing incentives, trust mechanisms, and quality controls that align worker behavior with enterprise expectations and long-term platform sustainability.
- • Scale operations by creating systems that reduce manual processes, automate routine tasks, and enable teams to manage growing volumes without proportional headcount growth.
- • Maintain deep technical fluency to work effectively with engineering teams on data pipelines, matching algorithms, and system integrations with enterprise clients’ operational platforms.
- • Operate with a builder mentality in a fast-paced startup environment, embracing ambiguity, moving quickly, and delivering impact without reliance on rigid processes or large teams.
- • Act as a first-principles thinker, questioning assumptions and grounding decisions in systems understanding rather than industry templates or generic playbooks.
- • Socialize product vision and progress across all levels of the organization while aligning stakeholders from engineering to operations to leadership.
- • Cover a wide surface area in a high-growth startup, contributing beyond core product responsibilities to support sales, customer onboarding, and operational execution as needed.
- • Ensure product decisions reflect Traba’s values: customer obsession, Olympian work ethic, growth mindset, and long-term vision over short-term wins.
