- • As a Senior Product Manager specializing in Marketplace Integrations at ShiftKey, you will be at the forefront of building and scaling our next-generation marketplace. This pivotal role involves taking ownership of our middleware platform and spearheading the development of a robust, public-facing API ecosystem from the ground up. You will be instrumental in driving integrations with external systems and partner platforms, ultimately unlocking significant customer value and removing critical friction points for our sales and operations teams.
- • This is a strategic leadership position, not a task-execution role. You will operate with substantial autonomy within an ambitious and fast-paced product team, acting as a key driver for one of our core product areas. Your responsibilities will extend to defining and owning the roadmap for our middleware platform, making critical decisions not only about the 'how' but also the 'if' of building integrations.
- • You will collaborate closely with a dedicated engineering team, guiding the design of APIs and the mapping of complex data flows. Simultaneously, you will forge strong partnerships with the Sales department to ensure that these integrations directly contribute to revenue generation and business growth.
- • This role is ideal for a proactive builder who thrives in ambiguous environments and is eager to leave a lasting impact on a revenue-critical ecosystem. You will be responsible for transforming our existing point-to-point connections into a cohesive, scalable, and public-facing API strategy, cleaning up legacy systems and making smart architectural decisions along the way.
- • A key aspect of your role will be to develop and implement observability and diagnostic tools. These tools will empower our revenue teams to self-serve, reducing reliance on immediate support and enabling them to efficiently troubleshoot external partner issues without needing to escalate through complex communication channels.
- • You will expertly manage competing interests, balancing the demands of internal product priorities with the unique needs of external partners. This requires a strategic approach to ensure that our internal functionality is exposed in a secure and scalable manner for partner consumption, maintaining the integrity and performance of the platform.
- • Defining and rigorously tracking key success metrics for all integrations is paramount. This includes monitoring adoption rates, conversion funnels, and retention figures. You will work hand-in-hand with Revenue Leadership to ensure that the integration strategy delivers against measurable business outcomes and contributes directly to ShiftKey's growth objectives.
- • Your work will directly impact the efficiency and scalability of ShiftKey's marketplace, enabling seamless connections with a wider array of partners and professionals. This involves understanding the nuances of marketplace dynamics and translating them into effective technical solutions.
- • You will be a champion for best practices in API design, data modeling, and error handling, ensuring that the platform is not only functional but also robust, maintainable, and developer-friendly for external partners.
