- • As a Senior Product Manager focused on Mortgages and Loans at NerdWallet, you will drive the optimization of growth funnels and data-driven user experiences within the Consumer Lending vertical, directly impacting how users discover, engage with, and complete financial products—making financial clarity more accessible and actionable for millions.
- • You will own the end-to-end performance of paid and organic acquisition loops for mortgage and personal loan products, collaborating with Engineering, Data Science, and Performance Marketing to build and iterate on high-conversion funnels that lower customer acquisition cost and increase funded loan volume.
- • Your day-to-day will involve defining and executing product roadmaps for dynamic landing page engines, self-service digital mortgage applications, and experiment-first funnel optimizations, using A/B testing and behavioral analytics to continuously improve user journeys from click to funded loan.
- • You will partner closely with in-house brokerage teams and third-party lenders to ensure seamless handoffs from digital engagement to human-assisted loan fulfillment, monitoring key metrics like conversion rate, CAC, and LTV to ruthlessly prioritize initiatives that maximize business efficiency and user satisfaction.
- • You will act as the primary bridge between technical and go-to-market teams, translating complex engineering constraints and data science insights into clear product strategies that align SEO, paid acquisition, and product-led growth for maximum impact.
- • In this role, you will deepen your expertise in consumer finance product strategy, gain hands-on experience with performance marketing integration at scale, and lead cross-functional initiatives that directly influence top-line lending growth—positioning you as a strategic leader in fintech product innovation.
- • You will have the opportunity to shape the future of digital lending experiences by building personalized, data-driven interactions that adapt to user intent and financial profiles, while advocating for user-centric design that balances empathy with commercial outcomes in a high-growth, candid culture.

- • 7+ years of product management experience with a proven track record in conversion rate optimization, ecommerce funnels, or performance marketing, preferably within fintech, lending, or mortgage sectors.
- • Expert-level proficiency in A/B testing frameworks and behavioral analytics tools (e.g., Amplitude, Tableau, Google Analytics) to drive data-informed product decisions and iterative improvements.
- • Demonstrated ability to collaborate effectively with engineering teams on API integrations, technical workflows, and data orchestration between front-end experiences and back-end systems like CRMs.
- • Strong strategic communication skills, with experience driving alignment across cross-functional teams (Engineering, Data Science, Marketing) without direct authority in fast-paced environments.
- • Experience in consumer finance, particularly mortgages or personal loans, and familiarity with regulatory considerations in financial services.
- • Familiarity with data science or machine learning concepts as applied to product development and growth experimentation.
🏖️ Benefits
- • Industry-leading medical, dental, and vision health care plans for employees and dependents, including Health and Dependent Care FSA/HSA plans with monthly company contributions.
- • Rejuvenation Policy offering flexible vacation time, 11 holidays, and company-wide shutdowns, plus a paid sabbatical after 5 years of service.
- • Monthly stipends for wellness, cell phone, and WiFi (for remote employees), along with work-from-home equipment and co-working space subsidies.
- • 401(k) plan with 4% company match, disability and life insurance with employer-paid premiums, and access to Certified Financial Planner (CFP) guidance through Northstar.
- • Generous time-off policies including New Parent Leave, 8 hours of volunteer time off per quarter with company match, and opportunities to participate in hackathons, ERGs, and company-wide events like NerdLove and Charity Auction.
