  • • As a Senior Product Manager for Muon Halo at Muon Space, you will be at the forefront of defining and delivering a revolutionary, integrated technology stack for LEO satellite constellations. This pivotal role reports directly to the VP of Product and is instrumental in bridging the gap between complex technical capabilities and cohesive product requirements across our entire platform, which encompasses satellite hardware, software systems, and mission operations.
  • • You will be the driving force behind inbound product management, meticulously leading the capture of needs and the definition of requirements for critical areas within the Muon Halo platform ecosystem. This involves translating intricate customer mission objectives into detailed, actionable product requirements that span hardware, software, and operational domains, ensuring a unified and effective product.
  • • A core responsibility will be owning and meticulously prioritizing product backlogs for your assigned platform components and features. You will define clear acceptance criteria and validation processes for integrated system capabilities, ensuring that every delivered feature meets the highest standards of quality and functionality.
  • • You will play a crucial role in coordinating technical trade-offs, expertly balancing the constraints of satellite hardware, the possibilities of software capabilities, and the demands of operational requirements to achieve optimal product outcomes.
  • • Establishing clear traceability from customer needs through system requirements to implementation is paramount. You will also contribute significantly to configuration control and change management processes, ensuring the integrity and evolution of our product.
  • • In outbound product management, you will be a key support for Go-To-Market teams, actively participating in product launch planning and market positioning. Your expertise will be vital in enabling sales and product marketing efforts through the creation of compelling technical documentation that effectively communicates the unique value proposition of our products to prospects.
  • • You will engage directly with customers in meetings, product demonstrations, and RFP responses, serving as the technical product expert throughout the sales cycle. This direct interaction will provide invaluable insights into customer needs and market dynamics.

  • • Conducting customer interviews and gathering feedback on product-market fit will be essential for understanding real-world product usage and identifying areas for enhancement.
  • • You will analyze market trends, customer behavior, and competitive movements to proactively identify new market opportunities and mitigate potential threats, ensuring our product strategy remains agile and forward-thinking.
  • • Defining product bundling strategies, creating distinct product packages, and determining feature inclusion at various price points will be a key contribution, always under the guidance of Go-To-Market teams.
  • • Analyzing deal outcomes to understand why opportunities are won or lost, identifying product gaps or competitive advantages, and feeding these critical insights back to the product development teams will be a continuous process.
  • • In terms of technical integration and architecture, you will define product interfaces that promote the reusability of our architecture across multiple missions, enhancing efficiency and scalability.
  • • You will define technical requirements that guarantee seamless interoperability between all components of the Muon Halo stack, including MuSim, MuOS, MuCore, MuSat, and MuDash.
  • • Collaborating closely with engineering teams, you will resolve complex dependencies that arise across hardware and software subsystems, ensuring smooth development and integration.
  • • You will contribute to architectural decisions, striving to achieve an optimal balance between performance, reliability, and time-to-market.
  • • Partnering with hardware and software engineering teams on technical debt reduction and product evolution strategies will ensure the long-term health and competitiveness of our platform.
  • • Your role in cross-functional coordination will involve close partnerships with engineering teams across satellite hardware, embedded software, ground systems, and cloud infrastructure.
  • • You will collaborate with the VP Product and other product team members on strategic roadmap decisions and feature prioritization, contributing to the overall product vision.
  • • Working with mission operations teams, you will ensure that our products meet stringent operational feasibility and efficiency requirements.
  • • You will support program management in coordinating deliverables across multiple customer missions, ensuring timely and successful project execution.
