• • As a Senior Product Manager at NetBox Labs, you will be instrumental in shaping the future of NetBox Cloud, our flagship Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) offering, and driving innovation in adjacent critical product areas. This role is designed for a proactive and strategic product leader who thrives in a dynamic, high-trust, and high-performance environment. You will take ownership of the end-to-end roadmap for NetBox Cloud, focusing on key aspects such as multi-tenant delivery, seamless instance provisioning, efficient upgrade management, and ensuring the robust reliability and operational excellence that enterprise clients demand.
• • Your responsibilities will extend beyond the core SaaS offering to encompass the user experience of our operational self-service console. This involves deeply understanding user workflows, identifying pain points, and designing intuitive interfaces that empower network professionals to manage their infrastructure with ease and efficiency. You will be the champion for the console's UX, ensuring it aligns with the overall product vision and delivers exceptional value.
• • Furthermore, this role involves pioneering the discovery and definition phase for a new customer-facing Analytics product. This is a greenfield opportunity where you will conduct early-stage research, engage with potential users, and translate nascent needs into a compelling product vision and strategy. You will be defining what "Analytics" means in the context of NetBox, identifying key metrics, and outlining the features that will provide actionable insights to our customers.
• • This position is unique in its demand for simultaneous execution and discovery. You will be actively managing and advancing the existing cloud roadmap while concurrently exploring and defining the future of our analytics capabilities. This requires a versatile product manager who can build structure and process where none currently exists, demonstrating initiative and a bias for action.
• • A significant aspect of this role is leveraging the strength of the NetBox open-source community. NetBox is already a trusted platform among network engineers. Your challenge and opportunity will be to position NetBox Cloud as the most logical and advantageous way for these users to deploy and manage NetBox, transforming existing adoption into a clear preference for the managed service.
• • You will be responsible for developing a clear, written, and defensible product strategy. This involves synthesizing diverse signals from customer interactions, support tickets, sales feedback, and market trends to make informed decisions about what to build and, equally importantly, what not to build. Your strategic thinking will guide the product's evolution and ensure it remains aligned with market needs and business objectives.
• • Collaboration is key. You will partner closely with engineering teams on all aspects of product development, from initial scoping and requirement definition to sequencing of features and ensuring timely, high-quality delivery. You will proactively identify process gaps within the product development lifecycle and propose innovative solutions to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
• • Engaging directly with customers and prospects is a fundamental part of this role. You will participate in discovery sessions, support pre-sales efforts, and establish continuous feedback loops to ensure the product remains customer-centric. Your ability to build rapport and understand user needs at a deep level will be critical.
• • Driving alignment across cross-functional teams – including engineering, design, and go-to-market (GTM) – without relying on positional authority is essential. You will be expected to influence stakeholders, build consensus, and move initiatives forward through clear communication and a compelling product vision.
• • Exceptional written communication skills are paramount. You will be expected to produce clear, concise, and opinionated documentation, including product requirement documents, strategy papers, and roadmap overviews, that require minimal editing and effectively convey complex ideas.
