• Are you a visionary Senior Product Manager with a passion for simplifying complex consumer experiences and a knack for leveraging cutting-edge AI? This is a unique opportunity to own a critical product area in a rapidly growing, pre-IPO startup that is already a leader in the car ownership super app space, boasting over 5 million users and a 4.7-star rating.
• As a Senior Product Manager, you will be instrumental in reimagining how drivers navigate the often-stressful world of car repair and maintenance. Your mission will be to bring unparalleled consumer-grade clarity, trust, and ease to moments of uncertainty, such as when an engine light illuminates, an unusual noise arises, or routine maintenance is due. You will be at the forefront of shaping the entire user journey, from initial symptom detection and diagnosis to finding a trusted mechanic and understanding repair costs.
• This role demands a deep understanding of user behavior, a strong sense of product intuition, and the ability to translate complex problems into elegant, user-centric solutions. You will be responsible for driving measurable improvements in user engagement and onboarding for GarageGuard’s core features, ensuring a seamless and intuitive experience for every driver. Your work will directly contribute to reducing friction and anxiety associated with car care, making it a more transparent and manageable aspect of vehicle ownership.
• A significant part of your impact will involve shipping 0→1 features, meaning you will be building entirely new capabilities from the ground up. This requires a creative problem-solving approach, a willingness to embrace ambiguity, and the tenacity to bring innovative ideas to fruition. You will be challenged to modernize the auto care experience for the average driver, moving beyond incremental improvements to create truly transformative solutions.
• Uncovering key opportunities to build and enhance user trust will be paramount. This will involve conducting deep-dive analyses into user behavior, employing a first-principles understanding of their needs and pain points, and identifying areas where Jerry can provide greater transparency and reliability. You will leverage the latest advancements in AI and machine learning to make GarageGuard not just faster and more efficient, but also more insightful and helpful to users.
• You will meticulously map out end-to-end user journeys, from the initial moment a driver suspects an issue (symptom triage) all the way through to successfully booking a service appointment at a trusted shop. This comprehensive mapping will highlight critical moments of confusion, anxiety, or potential drop-off, providing clear targets for product improvement.
• Your role will involve a blend of qualitative and quantitative user research. You will conduct insightful user interviews, surveys, and usability studies, and leverage data analytics to understand user patterns and preferences. You will collaborate closely with our talented Design and Research teams to rapidly prototype solutions and translate research findings into shippable product features. Validation through A/B testing and further usability studies will be crucial to ensure the success and effectiveness of your initiatives.
• Setting and maintaining a high bar for user experience quality is essential. This includes ensuring clarity, speed, consistency, and accessibility across all GarageGuard features. You will partner with Engineering and Design to instrument new features, establish key performance indicators (KPIs), and drive a culture of continuous iteration and improvement based on data and user feedback.

🎯 Requirements

• 5+ years of experience as a Product Manager in consumer technology, with a proven track record of delivering impactful products on mobile or web platforms.
• Demonstrated experience partnering closely with Product Design and Research teams, with a strong portfolio showcasing consumer-grade UI/UX polish.
• Deep customer empathy and a refined sense for UI/UX craft, with the ability to translate user needs into elegant and intuitive product solutions.
• Strong analytical skills with a data-driven approach to decision-making, comfortable working with large datasets and utilizing A/B testing for validation.
• Experience with or a strong interest in leveraging AI/ML technologies to enhance consumer products.
