đź“‹ Description

  • • As a Senior Product Manager on the Onboarding team at Jane Technologies, you will play a pivotal role in shaping how new clinics discover, adopt, and derive value from Jane’s platform during their critical first weeks. Your work directly impacts activation rates and long-term retention by ensuring practitioners quickly understand and benefit from the tools available to them—turning initial sign-ups into sustained, meaningful engagement. This role is foundational to Jane’s mission of helping helpers, as a seamless onboarding experience sets the tone for the entire customer journey.
  • • You will lead the design and execution of onboarding strategies that guide new users from first login to habitual use, focusing on reducing friction, increasing feature awareness, and accelerating time-to-value. This includes mapping user journeys, identifying drop-off points, and implementing targeted interventions such as in-app guidance, educational content, and personalized onboarding flows. You will collaborate closely with design to prototype and test experiences, with support to surface common pain points, and with marketing to align messaging and outreach efforts.
  • • A core part of your responsibility will be to build scalable systems and processes that enable product teams—especially those launching innovations like AI Scribe—to seamlessly integrate new features into the onboarding experience without creating duplication or confusion. You will establish clear handoffs, feedback loops, and governance models that ensure onboarding remains cohesive, up-to-date, and aligned with broader product strategy.
  • • You will champion a customer-obsessed approach by institutionalizing feedback loops from new clinics and practitioners, combining qualitative insights from interviews and usability tests with quantitative data from analytics platforms like Looker. This dual focus will ensure decisions are grounded in real user behavior and needs, not assumptions.
  • • You will help evolve Jane’s onboarding function into a strategic, cross-functional capability by defining metrics, setting standards, and fostering a culture of experimentation. This includes running A/B tests, analyzing activation funnels, and sharing learnings across teams to continuously improve how the organization supports new users.
  • • Jane is a founder-led, high-growth SaaS company with over 700 remote employees across Canada, the US, and the UK, united by a mission to empower healthcare and wellness clinics. You’ll join a purpose-driven culture where impact, learning agility, and humility are valued, and where everyone is encouraged to stay deeply connected to customer needs. The company is actively investing in AI to enhance both internal operations and customer experiences, offering a dynamic environment for innovation.
  • • In this role, you will grow your expertise in product-led growth, user onboarding, and cross-functional leadership while contributing to a product that improves the daily operations and patient care of thousands of clinics. You’ll develop stronger skills in data-informed decision-making, experimentation, and stakeholder influence—preparing you for broader product leadership opportunities within Jane or beyond.

🎯 Requirements

  • • 5+ years of product management experience, with at least 2–3 years focused on growth, onboarding, activation, or early customer journey initiatives
  • • Proven ability to influence and align cross-functional teams (product, design, support, marketing, data) without formal authority, driving ideas from concept to measurable impact
  • • Strong foundation in user research and customer discovery, including conducting interviews, synthesizing qualitative feedback, and using insights to shape product roadmaps
  • • Comfort with experimentation and data-driven decision making, including the ability to ask meaningful questions of data and work with analytics tools like Looker (deep SQL not required)
  • • Familiarity with AI tools and a genuine curiosity about how they can enhance product experiences, including exposure to platforms like Builder.io for rapid prototyping

🏖️ Benefits

  • • Annual salary range of $117,100 to $182,900, with most new hires starting at the accomplished level of $139,000, reflecting Jane’s commitment to paying for growth and skill development
  • • Comprehensive benefits package, including health, dental, vision, and wellness support, details available in Jane’s official benefits overview document
  • • Remote-first work environment with flexibility to work from anywhere in Canada, the US, or the UK, supported by a distributed team of over 700 employees
  • • Opportunities to work on cutting-edge AI initiatives, such as AI-assisted onboarding journeys and learning agents, emerging from internal hackathons and innovation efforts
  • • Culture of transparency, open communication, and continuous learning, where employees are encouraged to ask questions, challenge assumptions, and grow with the company
