• • As a Senior Product Manager for the Onboarding Platform at Kraken, you will play a pivotal role in shaping how millions of users globally begin their journey into the world of cryptocurrency by designing and owning the strategy for a scalable, secure, and compliant onboarding experience across consumer, business, and institutional segments.
• • You will lead the rearchitecture of Kraken’s onboarding infrastructure, transforming fragmented workflows into a unified, self-serve platform that empowers product and engineering teams to launch onboarding flows independently, reducing reliance on central teams and accelerating time-to-market for new products like Futures, Margin, and Kraken Pro.
• • Your work will directly impact Kraken’s mission to accelerate global crypto adoption by improving activation rates, ensuring regulatory compliance, and enhancing user trust through seamless identity verification and KYC processes.
• • Day to day, you will define and own the onboarding platform strategy, aligning technical infrastructure investments with business outcomes such as faster launches, improved system reliability, and reduced operational risk.
• • You will partner deeply with engineering to scale core capabilities including identity verification, document processing, verification orchestration, and compliance workflows, ensuring they are robust, modular, and reusable across product lines.
• • You will collaborate with compliance, operations, and product teams to ensure platform investments meet evolving regulatory requirements while supporting product velocity and innovation.
• • You will define and track key success metrics—such as activation rates, team velocity, and platform utilization—to measure impact and drive continuous improvement in onboarding efficiency and user experience.
• • You will anticipate regulatory shifts and design scalable infrastructure that supports Kraken’s global expansion into new markets and client segments.
• • You will build documentation, self-serve tooling, APIs, and developer workflows that enable internal teams to adopt and extend the platform autonomously.
• • You will write compelling strategy documents, PRDs, and narratives that influence senior leadership and align cross-functional stakeholders around a shared vision for the onboarding platform.
