- • As a Senior Product Manager for Payments at Perk.com Inc., you will be instrumental in shaping the future of our financial operations and customer transaction experiences. This pivotal role sits within the Spend & Control alliance, focusing on the critical Payments Group, which directly influences revenue generation, cost efficiency, customer trust, and the overall scalability of our platform. You will be at the forefront of managing the money movement platform that underpins the entire Perk ecosystem, as well as enhancing the customer-facing aspects of checkout and subscription management.
- • Your primary responsibility will be to own the strategic direction for your dedicated squad, meticulously defining its mission and crafting a roadmap that is tightly aligned with Perk's overarching company objectives. This includes driving improvements in revenue, ensuring platform reliability, optimizing profit margins, and fostering unwavering customer trust. You will be the architect of the payment product's evolution, ensuring it meets the complex needs of a global business.
- • A significant part of your role involves deep, cross-functional collaboration. You will work hand-in-hand with Engineering, Design, Data, Operations, Finance, and various other product teams to ensure the seamless end-to-end delivery of features and solutions. This collaborative approach is essential for translating strategic vision into tangible, impactful products.
- • You will champion the end-user, maintaining an uncompromising standard for a payment experience that is not only seamless and intuitive but also builds confidence and satisfaction. Understanding and advocating for customer needs will be central to your product development process.
- • Managing integrations and external dependencies will be a key facet of your work. This includes engaging with Payment Service Providers (PSPs), acquirers, banks, and other relevant third-party vendors. You will be adept at navigating the complexities of these relationships, managing inherent constraints, and making critical trade-offs to ensure optimal outcomes.

This encompasses enhancing success rates, reducing latency, refining failure handling mechanisms, and minimizing operational load. Your efforts will directly contribute to a more efficient and robust payment infrastructure.
- • You will play a crucial role in scaling financial operations through innovative product solutions. This involves actively working to reduce the manual effort required for processing payments, managing refunds, and streamlining the reconciliation process within Perk, thereby freeing up valuable resources and improving accuracy.
- • As the designated domain expert for your area, you will be the go-to person for answers, responsible for creating comprehensive training materials, and ensuring that all product documentation is accurate and up-to-date. This knowledge-sharing is vital for empowering the wider organization.
- • Leading with a servant-leadership philosophy, you will empower your team by helping them maintain focus, proactively removing obstacles, and fostering an environment that encourages creativity, collaboration, and continuous improvement. Your leadership style will be key to the team's success and morale.
- • You will also contribute to the growth and maturity of the broader product function at Perk. This involves a commitment to continuous learning, actively sharing insights and best practices with your colleagues, and contributing to the development of a world-class product management organization.
- • This role requires a strategic thinker with a strong operational mindset, capable of translating complex business requirements into actionable product plans. You will be responsible for the entire product lifecycle, from ideation and discovery through to launch and iteration, ensuring that the payments product consistently delivers value to both Perk and its customers.
- • The impact of this role is substantial, touching upon the financial health of the company, the efficiency of its operations, and the overall satisfaction of its diverse customer base. You will be a key player in enabling Perk's continued growth and success in the competitive travel and spend management market.
