We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Senior Product Manager to join our core Performance team.
- • The Performance team is the engine driving Vibe's value creation. This team is responsible for the sophisticated systems that govern budget allocation, bid placement, and real-time performance measurement and optimization within our advertising platform. You will collaborate closely with Engineering, Data Science, and commercial stakeholders to build and maintain data-intensive, low-latency systems that are critical to advertiser ROI and the overall growth of the Vibe platform.
- • As the Senior Product Manager for Performance, reporting directly to the VP of Product, you will take ownership of the product strategy and roadmap for Vibe's entire performance stack. This includes critical areas such as bidding infrastructure and performance measurement. Your primary mission will be to ensure that our algorithmic bidding decisions and measurement frameworks translate into tangible, causal performance improvements for advertisers, all while navigating the complex real-world constraints inherent in Real-Time Bidding (RTB) systems. This is a senior-level, highly technical product management role that sits at the crucial intersection of product strategy, data science, and engineering.
- • Your responsibilities will span across several key domains:
- • **Bidding Logic & Optimization:** You will define and continuously evolve the bidding logic that governs pricing, pacing, and inventory selection within the OpenRTB framework. This involves owning the roadmap for advanced algorithmic bidding strategies, meticulously balancing competing objectives such as budget delivery, Cost Per Acquisition (CPA) targets, and Return on Ad Spend (ROAS). A significant part of this role will involve close collaboration with our Data Science team to iterate on and enhance prediction models and optimization algorithms. You will also design and refine sophisticated bid shading mechanisms aimed at reducing clearing prices for advertisers while maintaining optimal win rates for ad placements.
- • **Attribution & Performance Measurement:** You will be responsible for overseeing integrations with key measurement partners and tracking systems, including Mobile Measurement Partners (MMPs) and web pixels, ensuring the utmost accuracy and reliability of our data. A critical aspect of your work will be to design and implement cutting-edge incrementality frameworks, such as geo-lift studies, holdout groups, and ghost ads, to accurately measure the causal impact of advertising campaigns beyond simple last-click attribution. Furthermore, you will define the product requirements for comprehensive performance reporting and dashboards, catering to the needs of both technical and non-technical users across the organization.
- • **Execution, Analytics & Delivery:** You will translate complex performance-related challenges into clear, actionable product requirements. This includes writing detailed technical specifications for backend engineers, paying close attention to critical constraints such as latency, Queries Per Second (QPS) handling, and signal processing. You will leverage your strong analytical skills, using SQL and log-level data extensively to investigate issues, validate hypotheses, and accurately size potential opportunities. Your prioritization decisions will be driven by a data-informed approach, focusing on measurable outcomes, impact, and technical feasibility.
