Full Job Description
đź“‹ Description
- • Own the full product lifecycle for First Connect’s comparative rater and binding flows—our #1 growth lever for 2026. You will translate the complexity of 130 carrier integrations into a consumer-grade experience that independent agents rave about.
- • Architect a multi-year product roadmap that balances rapid feature delivery with long-term scalability. Your roadmap will be the single source of truth for engineering, design, data, and go-to-market teams, updated quarterly and communicated through living documents in Notion and quarterly OKR reviews.
- • Translate high-level business goals into measurable product KPIs: quote-to-bind conversion, time-to-rate, carrier API uptime, and agent NPS. You will build dashboards that make these metrics visible daily and use them to ruthlessly prioritize the backlog, ensuring every sprint delivers incremental revenue impact.
- • Lead deep discovery with 1,000+ active agents and the hundreds joining monthly. Run contextual interviews, shadow agents in their agencies, and synthesize findings into crisp problem statements that engineering can act on within days, not weeks.
- • Spearhead technical integration strategy with carriers such as Progressive, Nationwide, and regional mutuals. You will negotiate API contracts, define data schemas, and ensure SLAs that keep quote latency under two seconds while maintaining 99.9% uptime.
- • Drive go-to-market alongside Sales, Marketing, and Customer Success. You will craft positioning, train 50+ CS reps, and launch in-app tours that lift feature adoption by double digits within 30 days of release.
- • Champion a culture of experimentation. Every new feature ships behind a flag, measured through A/B tests that you design, run, and interpret. You will kill, pivot, or scale based on statistically significant impact, maintaining a 25% experiment velocity benchmark.
- • Collaborate with a cross-functional squad of 6-8 engineers, 2 designers, and 1 data scientist in weekly rituals that keep velocity high and quality higher. You will unblock the team daily and shield them from scope creep, ensuring 90%+ sprint commitment accuracy.
- • Influence the executive team with crisp, data-backed narratives. You will present product reviews to the CEO and Board, securing budget and headcount for the next phase of growth, including a planned 3x expansion of the product org in 2025.
- • Mentor junior PMs and analysts, turning raw talent into high-impact product thinkers who can run their own squads within 12 months. You will establish a formal mentorship program with weekly 1:1s and quarterly growth plans.
- • Stay ahead of industry shifts—telematics, embedded insurance, AI underwriting—and translate emerging trends into roadmap bets that keep First Connect three steps ahead of legacy competitors, allocating 20% of engineering capacity to R&D initiatives.
- • Ensure compliance and security are baked into every release. You will partner with Legal and Infosec to meet SOC 2, PCI, and carrier-specific requirements without slowing shipping cadence, maintaining a <5% compliance-related rollback rate.
- • Foster a remote-first culture of transparency. You will document decisions in Notion, record demos in Loom, and run asynchronous stand-ups that keep Poland-based and US-based teammates perfectly aligned across 7 time zones.
