Full Job Description
đź“‹ Description
- • Own the end-to-end product lifecycle for one of Quanata’s flagship context-based insurance platforms, translating complex customer pain points into elegant, data-driven solutions that materially improve policyholder experience and reduce claims friction.
- • Define and evangelize a bold 12- to 24-month product vision that aligns with Quanata’s mission of “ensuring a better world,” while balancing the pragmatic realities of a highly regulated industry and the ambitious growth targets set by our State Farm partnership.
- • Lead cross-functional squads of engineers, designers, actuaries, data scientists, and compliance specialists in a fully remote environment, using outcome-oriented OKRs, rapid experimentation, and continuous discovery to ship features that delight users and move key business metrics.
- • Deeply understand the insurance value chain—from underwriting and pricing to claims and renewals—then surface hidden opportunities where contextual data (IoT, telematics, behavioral analytics, environmental feeds) can create fairer, more personalized coverage and proactive loss prevention.
- • Build and maintain a living, evidence-backed roadmap that clearly communicates prioritization trade-offs to executives, investors, and regulators; update it monthly based on customer feedback, competitive intelligence, and emerging risk trends such as climate volatility and cyber threats.
- • Instrument products with best-in-class telemetry and experimentation frameworks, partnering with data science to run A/B tests, multivariate tests, and quasi-experiments that validate hypotheses and de-risk large-scale rollouts.
- • Champion accessibility, privacy, and ethical AI principles in every feature spec, ensuring that algorithms used for pricing or claims triage are transparent, auditable, and free from unintended bias.
- • Collaborate with State Farm enterprise stakeholders to pilot new capabilities in tightly controlled sandboxes, gathering both quantitative performance data and qualitative agent feedback before scaling nationally across millions of policyholders.
- • Serve as the voice of the customer in quarterly business reviews, presenting actionable insights derived from user interviews, NPS surveys, support tickets, and social listening to influence strategic investment decisions.
- • Mentor junior PMs and associate product managers through structured 1:1s, design critiques, and story-writing workshops, cultivating a culture of psychological safety, intellectual curiosity, and customer obsession.
- • Drive go-to-market planning alongside marketing, sales, and customer success teams, crafting positioning narratives, pricing models, and launch playbooks that maximize adoption while maintaining underwriting profitability.
- • Monitor regulatory developments (state DOI bulletins, NAIC model laws, federal privacy statutes) and proactively adjust product requirements to maintain compliance without stifling innovation.
- • Establish partnerships with third-party data providers, insurtech APIs, and ecosystem platforms to enrich context signals and expand Quanata’s competitive moat in usage-based and parametric insurance.
- • Contribute to Quanata’s thought-leadership agenda by publishing white papers, speaking at industry conferences, and hosting webinars that showcase how context-based insurance can narrow protection gaps and advance societal resilience.
- • Foster a remote-first culture of experimentation and continuous learning by instituting rituals such as weekly demo days, blameless post-mortems, and cross-team retros that accelerate iteration cycles and reduce time-to-value.

About Quanata Inc.
Quanata provides a software platform that automates data extraction, normalization, and analysis for financial services firms. Its cloud-native engine uses machine learning to ingest unstructured and structured documents such as statements, contracts, and regulatory filings, then maps the extracted data to standardized taxonomies for downstream reporting, risk management, and compliance workflows. The system offers APIs and dashboards enabling asset managers, banks, and insurers to eliminate manual spreadsheet work, accelerate audits, and maintain audit trails. Security controls include encryption, role-based access, and SOC 2 compliance to safeguard sensitive financial information across North American and European deployments.
