📋 Description

• Are you a seasoned Product Manager with a passion for innovation and a knack for navigating the dynamic landscape of early-stage startups? Tendem, a groundbreaking venture spun out of Toloka, is seeking a Senior Product Manager to join its core product team and play a pivotal role in shaping the future of our AI-powered task platform. Launched in December, Tendem is already making waves in the freelance market, offering a unique solution for founders and micro-small businesses seeking efficient and cost-effective ways to manage tasks like data scraping, marketing research, lead generation, and sales optimization. We are moving beyond the initial launch phase, focusing on validating our value proposition and use cases before scaling, with an ambitious goal of reaching 1,000 paying users.
• As a Senior Product Manager at Tendem, you will report directly to the Head of Product and collaborate closely with talented individuals across design, machine learning, backend, frontend, analytics, and operations. Your primary responsibility will be to own the core user journey and the fundamental value proposition of Tendem. This involves strategically defining the optimal balance between human expertise and AI capabilities for each task, refining our core use cases to maximize impact, and relentlessly driving product quality and customer satisfaction. You will have direct exposure to our customers, gaining invaluable insights, and will also participate in investor updates, contributing to our growth narrative.
• Your day-to-day will involve a blend of strategic thinking and hands-on execution. You will be instrumental in running monetization and pricing experiments in close partnership with design and engineering teams, helping us discover the most effective revenue models. A key aspect of your role will be defining our ideal customer profile, identifying and prioritizing core use cases that resonate most with our target audience, and pinpointing the critical 'aha moment' that solidifies our product's value for users. You will establish clear, actionable boundaries between AI-driven automation and the essential human-added value that distinguishes Tendem in the market.
• A significant focus will be placed on improving customer retention and increasing recurring payment rates. This requires a deep understanding of user behavior, a data-driven approach to identifying friction points, and the ability to translate insights into product improvements. You are expected to be a self-starter, capable of independently requesting data, forming well-reasoned hypotheses, and proposing a strategic roadmap. At Tendem, we foster an environment where ownership is paramount; you will drive your own strategy and execution without the need for task assignments.
• To succeed in this role, you will conduct regular customer calls to gather direct feedback and maintain a pulse on user needs. Your insights will be crucial in shaping the product's evolution. You will also participate actively in investor updates, articulating our progress, vision, and the impact of your product initiatives. 🎯 Requirements

• 7+ years of product management experience, with the ability to operate strategically and tactically.
• Proven experience in a startup environment, demonstrating a hands-on approach and a willingness to move fast.
• Strong data literacy, with a track record of defining metrics and making decisions based on both quantitative and qualitative data.
• Excellent communication skills, capable of articulating complex ideas and trade-offs to diverse stakeholders.
