📋 Description

• Senior Product Manager - User Experience (UX) role at Semtech Corporation’s IoT Connected Services team, responsible for owning and advancing the UX vision across the global portfolio to reduce friction, accelerate revenue, and earn customer loyalty throughout the customer lifecycle.
• Day-to-day responsibilities include defining end-to-end UX strategy, leading user research and insights initiatives, owning NPS-driven usability testing and optimization, building and executing UX roadmaps, leading a team of UX specialists, collaborating cross-functionally with engineering, marketing, and sales, advocating for customers, managing design systems, assessing market trends, and tracking performance metrics tied to business outcomes.
• The role is part of Semtech’s IoT Connected Services team (formerly Sierra Wireless), reporting to the Vice President of IoT Connected Services, with visibility to senior leadership through quarterly business and strategic reviews, influencing how customers experience IoT connectivity at a global scale.
• The person in this role will learn to translate deep customer insight into roadmap decisions that drive measurable business impact, gain experience leveraging AI-powered tools and in-product engagement for intuitive experiences, develop leadership skills in managing high-performing UX teams, and shape the strategic direction of UX across complex technical domains.

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Design, Computer Science, or related field; advanced degree a plus
• 8–12 years of UX-focused product management with demonstrated ownership of UX strategy across multiple product lines
• End-to-end NPS program ownership with proven ability to connect customer sentiment to usability priorities and roadmap decisions
• Hands-on experience with AI-powered design and engagement tools; clear point of view on leveraging AI and in-product chat to reduce friction
• Strong user research and usability testing expertise with a track record of converting findings into actionable product direction
• Demonstrated UX improvements tied to measurable outcomes — adoption, retention, conversion, and revenue growth
• Ability to read market trends, UX patterns, and competitor strategies to maintain a forward-looking product vision
• Proven ability to align engineering, marketing, and sales around UX priorities and drive execution without direct authority
• Metrics-grounded approach leveraging NPS, engagement, and retention signals to continuously optimize experience outcomes
• Exceptional ability to articulate UX strategy and decisions to senior leadership and diverse stakeholder groups
• Experience governing design systems and component libraries across platforms, including AI-assisted interaction patterns
• Background in IoT, connectivity, enterprise software, or similarly complex technical domains strongly preferred
