- • Lead product marketing for Coursera for Government (C4G), with additional support for Coursera for Business (C4B) as business priorities dictate.
- • Develop deep expertise in government, workforce development, and public-sector audiences including agency leaders, program administrators, workforce boards, job seekers, and civil servants to influence product and go-to-market strategy.
- • Create and own product messaging, positioning, pricing, and go-to-market assets specifically tailored to government buyers, ensuring alignment with public-sector procurement processes and program outcomes.
- • Serve as the competitive expert on skills-training solutions within the public sector, identifying priority regions, agency types, and workforce development initiatives.
- • Drive go-to-market strategy and execution for new features and solutions designed for government agencies and workforce development programs.
- • Develop sales and marketing materials including pitch decks, program one-pagers, procurement-ready documentation, and messaging guides, acting as the primary subject matter expert for government buyers.
- • Partner cross-functionally with product management, content strategy, marketing, partnerships, and customer success teams to craft compelling narratives around economic mobility, job placement, and workforce impact.
- • Build audience-specific insights and expertise for public sector buyers, administrators, and learners to directly influence the product and marketing roadmap.
- • Translate complex public-sector needs into clear, actionable product positioning that resonates with federal, state, and local government stakeholders.
- • Ensure all marketing and sales enablement materials comply with government compliance, procurement, and regulatory requirements.
- • Collaborate with PR and external communications to amplify public impact stories and demonstrate Coursera’s role in advancing workforce equity and skills access.
- • Monitor and analyze market trends, competitor activity, and government funding initiatives to inform strategic adjustments and growth opportunities.
- • Maintain a deep understanding of Coursera’s platform innovations including generative AI-powered features like Coach, Role Play, and Course Builder, and how they serve government workforce upskilling goals.
🎯 Requirements
- • 8+ years in B2B product marketing (or related marketing roles), with 10+ years of professional experience
- • Experience implementing sales enablement strategies for field teams selling into government, enterprise, or other highly regulated industries
- • Experience developing go-to-market plans, messaging, positioning, pricing/packaging, and tracking GTM initiatives across cross-functional teams
- • Experience creating messaging documents and positioning plans for complex, multi-stakeholder audiences
