Full Job Description
đź“‹ Description
- • Own the end-to-end go-to-market strategy for CaptivateIQ’s flagship Incentive Compensation Management (ICM) product, translating complex product capabilities into crisp, differentiated narratives that resonate with CFOs, RevOps leaders, and sales executives at high-growth companies like Netflix, Stripe, and Figma.
- • Architect and execute high-impact product launches—ranging from net-new modules to major feature releases—by partnering with Product, Demand Gen, and Sales from ideation through post-launch optimization; define positioning, pricing, packaging, and channel strategy to accelerate pipeline and expansion ARR.
- • Build and continuously refresh a best-in-class sales enablement engine: create battlecards, ROI calculators, demo scripts, competitive kill sheets, and vertical-specific pitch decks that empower AEs, SEs, and CSMs to win competitive deals and shorten sales cycles.
- • Act as the company’s subject-matter expert on the ICM competitive landscape—tracking product updates, pricing moves, and messaging shifts from legacy vendors and emerging players—then distill insights into actionable recommendations for Product roadmap prioritization and Sales plays.
- • Conduct primary and secondary market research (win/loss interviews, customer councils, analyst briefings, survey data) to uncover buyer pain points, adoption blockers, and expansion opportunities; socialize findings across Product, Marketing, and Executive teams to influence quarterly OKRs.
- • Develop rich, persona-based messaging frameworks that ladder up to CaptivateIQ’s overarching brand promise; ensure message consistency across web, field, channel, and customer marketing touchpoints while tailoring language to CFO, Sales Ops, and HR buyer personas.
- • Produce high-leverage content assets—e-books, whitepapers, webinars, case studies, and interactive tools—that fuel demand generation campaigns and arm Sales with proof points; measure content performance and iterate rapidly based on engagement, pipeline attribution, and win-rate data.
- • Partner with Revenue Operations to instrument funnel metrics, define campaign attribution models, and build dashboards that track product-line ARR, win rates, deal velocity, and customer expansion; present insights monthly to the Executive team to inform investment decisions.
- • Serve as the external evangelist for CaptivateIQ’s ICM vision: speak at industry conferences, customer advisory boards, and webinars to amplify thought leadership and generate qualified pipeline; internally, champion the voice of customer in roadmap planning and sprint reviews.
- • Mentor junior PMMs and cross-functional teammates on storytelling, competitive positioning, and launch excellence; foster a culture of experimentation, feedback, and continuous improvement across the Marketing organization.
🎯 Requirements
- • 5+ years of B2B SaaS product marketing experience and 7–10 total years in marketing, consulting, or related roles
- • Proven track record of partnering with Product, Sales, and Customer Success to launch products and drive measurable pipeline and revenue growth
- • Deep expertise in competitive intelligence—ability to dissect competitor messaging, pricing, and product strategy and translate insights into winning sales plays
- • Exceptional storytelling and communication skills; can distill complex technical concepts into clear, compelling narratives for executive and practitioner audiences
- • Data-driven mindset with experience defining KPIs, instrumenting dashboards, and iterating based on funnel metrics and win/loss data
🏖️ Benefits
- • 100% employer-paid medical, dental, and vision coverage for employees plus 75% for dependents
- • Flexible vacation policy plus quarterly mental-health recharge days
- • One-time anniversary expense stipend (travel, home office upgrade, or celebratory experience) after your first year
- • Annual professional-development and caretaking stipends to support continuous learning and work-life balance
- • 401(k) plan with company contribution and newest Apple hardware to ensure you have best-in-class tools
