- • The Senior Product Owner at Humana Inc. is responsible for conveying product vision and roadmap to an Agile delivery team by defining user stories and prioritizing the product backlog, ensuring the right product is built in the right order, within budget and by deadline.
- • Day-to-day responsibilities include defining and prioritizing product backlog items, developing market and customer insights, collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality products, creating product roadmaps and release plans, and analyzing product performance metrics to inform future decisions.
- • The role operates within Humana’s Encounter Data Management team, reporting to the Associate Director, and involves influencing departmental strategy while exercising considerable latitude in determining objectives and approaches to complex technical assignments.
- • In this role, the individual will develop deep expertise in healthcare product management, Agile methodologies, stakeholder alignment, and data-driven decision-making, with opportunities to lead moderately complex to complex initiatives without direct supervision.
🎯 Requirements
- • Bachelor’s degree in a related field or a minimum of 3 years of experience in encounter data, system migrations, or technical operations
- • 3 or more years of experience working on an Agile development team as a Product Owner
- • 2 or more years of experience working with user acceptance testing
- • 2 or more years of experience working with ADO or Jira Align
- • Master’s degree in business administration or a related field (preferred)
- • Background in a healthcare environment (preferred)
- • Certification in Six Sigma or Project Management (preferred)
