  • • As a Senior Product Owner for Healthcare Navigation at Alight, you will be instrumental in shaping the future of how individuals access and manage their healthcare benefits. This pivotal role acts as the crucial bridge between our business objectives and the technical execution teams, ensuring that we deliver innovative, user-centered digital and human-delivered solutions. Your primary focus will be on developing scalable, intuitive products that significantly enhance member experiences and drive better health outcomes.
  • • You will collaborate closely with Product Leadership to ensure a cohesive product strategy, meticulously align roadmap priorities, and define clear execution objectives that resonate with our company's mission. This involves translating high-level strategic initiatives into actionable, detailed user stories, complete with precise acceptance criteria, that guide our development teams effectively.
  • • A core responsibility is the ownership and meticulous maintenance of the product backlog. You will be responsible for prioritizing features and enhancements based on a deep understanding of business goals, stakeholder feedback, and market needs, ensuring that development efforts are always focused on delivering maximum value.
  • • Your active participation in Agile ceremonies is essential. This includes leading and contributing to sprint planning sessions, backlog refinement meetings, and retrospectives, all aimed at fostering efficient team delivery and continuous improvement of our development processes.
  • • You will serve as the subject matter expert for business rules, complex workflows, and intricate edge cases within the healthcare navigation domain. Your clarity and precision in defining these aspects will be critical to ensuring the development of high-quality, robust products that meet user needs accurately.
  • • Partnering with Quality Assurance (QA) teams is a key aspect of this role. You will work hand-in-hand with QA to ensure that test cases are meticulously aligned with product requirements and to validate that all acceptance criteria are met, guaranteeing the integrity and functionality of the delivered product.
  • • Facilitating seamless communication across diverse teams is paramount. You will foster a shared understanding of product goals, technical requirements, and business objectives between technical and non-technical stakeholders, ensuring alignment and preventing misinterpretations.
  • • This role involves actively supporting enhancements to our healthcare navigation solutions. A significant part of this will be ensuring the effective integration of cutting-edge digital tools with our human-supported services, creating a holistic and seamless member experience.
  • • You will be responsible for diligently tracking sprint progress and delivery outcomes, closely monitoring key performance indicators, and proactively incorporating user feedback and performance data into ongoing backlog updates and future iterations.
  • • Contributing to the continuous improvement of our Agile processes and team workflows is highly encouraged. You will identify opportunities for optimization, share best practices, and help foster a culture of learning and adaptation within the product development lifecycle.
  • • This position requires a deep understanding of the healthcare landscape, including benefits administration, care coordination, and the complexities of member navigation through various healthcare options. Your insights will directly influence the design and functionality of products aimed at simplifying these processes.
  • • You will champion the voice of the user throughout the development process, ensuring that all product decisions are made with the end-user experience as the top priority. This involves advocating for features and improvements that enhance usability, accessibility, and overall satisfaction.
  • • The role demands a proactive approach to identifying and mitigating risks associated with product development, ensuring that projects stay on track and deliver on time and within scope.
  • • You will play a key role in defining and refining the product vision, ensuring it aligns with Alight's broader strategic goals and market positioning within the healthcare benefits sector.
  • • Ultimately, your success will be measured by your ability to drive the successful delivery of impactful healthcare navigation products that empower members, improve health outcomes, and contribute to Alight's mission of championing people and growing with purpose.
