- • The Senior Professional Services Engineer at OPSWAT Inc. plays a critical role in delivering cybersecurity solutions to enterprise customers, ensuring the protection of complex IT and OT networks through expert deployment, ongoing managed SOC services, and trusted technical advisory. This role is essential to safeguarding critical infrastructure and maintaining compliance for public and private sector organizations globally.
- • Day to day, the engineer will lead end-to-end deployments of OPSWAT security solutions across enterprise IT and OT environments, including requirements gathering, architecture design, installation, configuration, and validation. They will run 24x7 or 8x5 SOC operations, monitor and analyze security alerts using SIEM, SOAR, EDR, and other tools, lead threat investigations, build detection rules and playbooks, prepare SOC reports, manage multiple customer projects simultaneously, serve as the primary technical point of contact, communicate complex concepts to technical and executive audiences, and participate in quarterly business reviews.

- • In this role, the individual will deepen their expertise in enterprise cybersecurity, SOC operations, cloud and hybrid environments, and OT/IT networking. They will develop advanced project management and customer engagement skills, gain hands-on experience with leading security tools (SIEM, SOAR, EDR), and grow as a trusted advisor influencing security posture and operational resilience for high-stakes clients.
🎯 Requirements
- • 7+ years in cybersecurity with strong exposure to enterprise environments
- • Hands-on system administration experience (Windows, Linux)
- • Strong understanding of Cloud (AWS, Azure, GCP) and hybrid deployments
- • Networking expertise across IT & OT environments, including segmentation, firewalls, VPNs, and ICS/SCADA basics
- • Prior experience working in a SOC environment and delivering SOC services
- • Familiarity with SOC tools such as SIEM (Splunk, QRadar, Sentinel), SOAR, EDR/XDR, vulnerability management, and threat intelligence platforms
- • Knowledge of cybersecurity frameworks including NIST, MITRE ATT&CK, and ISO 27001
- • Strong project management skills with experience driving complex technical projects
- • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- • Ability to lead customer conversations with clarity, confidence, and empathy
- • Strong problem-solving and critical-thinking skills
- • Ability to work in fast-paced environments and handle multiple priorities
