- • The Senior Project Manager is a core delivery leader within nCino’s KYC Africa Customer Onboarding team, responsible for owning end-to-end onboarding delivery for new customers from sales handover to go-live, ensuring compliance with South African regulatory frameworks like the FIC Act.
- • Day to day, the role involves managing multiple concurrent customer onboarding programmes, creating and maintaining project plans in Monday.com and Salesforce, leading customer-facing sessions such as kick-off calls and Needs Analysis workshops, coordinating cross-functional teams including Compliance and Account Management, and serving as the first escalation point for delivery issues.
- • The Customer Onboarding team at nCino operates in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment focused on delivering compliant, efficient onboarding experiences for financial institutions across Africa, with strong on process improvement, mentorship, and internal initiatives to raise team capability.
- • In this role, the individual will develop expertise in financial services onboarding, strengthen leadership and facilitation skills, contribute to scalable processes and playbooks, and gain experience influencing team-wide improvements through mentorship, pattern recognition, and internal knowledge-sharing.
🎯 Requirements
- • Minimum 4 years of project management experience in a client-facing delivery environment within financial services, fintech, or SaaS.
- • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple concurrent customer onboardings simultaneously, each at different lifecycle stages.
- • Exceptional organisational discipline with proficiency in maintaining clean Monday.com boards and up-to-date Salesforce notes.
- • Strong client-facing communication and facilitation skills, including leading kick-off calls, needs analysis sessions, UAT reviews, and executive handovers.
- • Experience working with Salesforce-based platforms or structured CRM/project management tools such as Monday.com, Jira, or similar.
- • Formal tertiary qualification or equivalent professional experience.
