  • • Senior Project Manager (SPM) is responsible for the overall coordination and management of clinical trials from start-up through closeout activities in the cardiometabolic therapeutic area.
  • • Directs the technical, financial, and operational aspects of clinical projects to ensure successful completion and adherence to client expectations for time, quality, and cost.
  • • Collaborates with major functional area leads to identify, evaluate, and resolve complex project issues, interpret data, and implement effective business solutions.
  • • Ensures all project deliverables meet customer and contract expectations, working in partnership with Project Management Directors and cross-functional team leads.
  • • Applies thorough knowledge of project management processes, including the ability to craft, manage, and monitor project budgets with precision.
  • • Leads and manages multidisciplinary project teams, providing direction and oversight to ensure alignment with clinical trial objectives and timelines.
  • • Maintains accountability for project outcomes, demonstrating high levels of responsibility and accountability in all tasks.
  • • Communicates effectively across teams and stakeholders to facilitate seamless execution of clinical trial activities.
  • • Performs effectively in demanding, fast-paced environments while maintaining focus on quality and compliance.
  • • Works within a global CRO environment with a client-focused approach, integrating operational rigor with deep therapeutic expertise in cardiometabolic trials.
  • • Engages with scientific and therapeutic leadership to support trial design and execution, leveraging Worldwide’s specialized medical and scientific resources.
  • • Contributes to a culture of innovation, collaboration, and excellence by embracing creative approaches to solving complex clinical trial challenges.
  • • May be required to travel as needed to support project milestones, client meetings, or site visits.
  • • Operates with a patient-centric mindset, aligned with Worldwide’s mission to improve lives through pioneering clinical research.

🎯 Requirements

  • • 6–7 years of industry experience with a minimum of 5 years in a Clinical Project Management role within a CRO setting
  • • Demonstrated experience managing clinical trials specifically in the cardiometabolic therapeutic area
  • • University/College degree in a Life Science field preferred
  • • Proven ability to manage and lead multidisciplinary project teams
  • • Strong understanding of project management processes and budget management
  • • Ability to travel when required
