- • The Senior Project Manager will be responsible for managing the end-to-end delivery of large-scale fiber optic construction projects across multiple markets.
- • This role will oversee project timelines, budgets, permitting, vendor coordination, and customer communications to ensure successful fiber deployments that meet operational and financial targets.
- • The ideal candidate brings deep experience in OSP fiber construction, strong organizational and communication skills, and the ability to manage complex projects independently in a fast-paced, multi-stakeholder environment.
- • The Senior Project Manager will identify candidate OSP engineering/construction firms, manage the bid/vendor selection process and contract negotiation.
- • They will own tactical project management, including project schedules, running regular project calls, and supporting project functions (securing bonds, internal signatures for permits, etc.).
- • The Senior Project Manager will provide build cost estimates for the sales team, perform service delivery functions, including regular customer updates (written and/or oral), coordinating site access, and close-out package preparation.
- • They will conduct site walks with customers and vendors, work with local/state/federal permitting agencies to secure timely permit approvals, and provide direction and coordination of project environmental requirements, tasks, and activities.
- • The Senior Project Manager will manage environmental engineering vendors and related subcontractors as they secure related permitting, document splicing requirements and maintain fiber engineering documentation, specify and procure optics components for contractor installation, and maintain up-to-date network maps in the company's proprietary geospatial project management platform.
- • They will provide accurate network maps to state 811 agencies and the company's NOC, manage network maintenance and relocation projects (including emergency maintenance).
🎯 Requirements
- • 5+ years of experience in project management, fiber network engineering, or telecom infrastructure deployment.
- • Proven ability to develop and manage detailed project schedules, budgets, and scopes of work.
- • Strong analytical and organizational skills, with attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- • Excellent vendor management and communication skills, with experience running RFPs, selecting contractors, and negotiating terms.
- • Demonstrated experience with OSP fiber project management, including permitting, construction oversight, and service delivery coordination.
- • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Google Workspace, and mapping tools (e.g., Google Earth or similar GIS platforms).
- • Must be authorized to work in the United States (no visa sponsorship available for this role).
- • Must currently reside in one of the following states: Arizona, California, Colorado, Florida, Georgia, Idaho, Illinois, Kansas, Kentucky, Massachusetts, Minnesota, Missouri, Montana, New Jersey, New York, North Carolina, Ohio, Oklahoma, Pennsylvania, South Carolina, Tennessee, Texas, Vermont, or Washington.

- • Competitive salary range of $110,000–$155,000 base annually, depending on experience.
