📋 Description

• • Lead the end-to-end delivery of high-impact insurance technology initiatives for one of the world’s largest British-American insurance brokers, whose portfolio spans commercial cyber, property, liability, health, travel, reinsurance, human capital, pensions, actuarial analytics, and risk-management consulting across every major industry.
• • Own the full project life-cycle—from discovery and scope definition through deployment and post-release support—on enterprise-grade, fixed-price engagements that routinely exceed €1 M in budget and serve millions of end-users worldwide.
• • Translate complex risk-management and insurance requirements into clear, measurable deliverables by collaborating with C-suite stakeholders, actuaries, underwriters, brokers, and distributed engineering squads located across Poland, Ukraine, the UK, and the US.
• • Build and maintain integrated project plans that harmonize Waterfall contractual milestones with Agile sprint cadences; leverage Earned Value Management (EVM) to forecast cost, schedule, and scope variances, ensuring early warning and proactive remediation.
• • Drive profitability by monitoring revenue recognition, bill rates, margins, and resource-utilization KPIs; prepare monthly financial dashboards that empower account leadership to make data-driven investment decisions.
• • Assemble and inspire cross-functional teams of 15–50 engineers, QA analysts, DevOps, data scientists, and business analysts; set explicit accountability frameworks, remove blockers, and foster a culture of continuous improvement.
• • Identify, log, and mitigate project, technical, regulatory, and market risks specific to the insurance domain—GDPR, Solvency II, IFRS 17, NAIC guidelines—while maintaining strict security and audit-readiness.
• • Facilitate large-scale PI planning, backlog refinement, sprint reviews, and retrospectives; coach Product Owners and Scrum Masters on story mapping, estimation, and value-stream optimization.
• • Orchestrate go-live cut-over strategies that integrate with legacy policy-administration systems, Guidewire suites, Duck Creek, or custom microservice architectures; coordinate UAT with brokers and end clients across multiple time zones.
• • Champion lessons-learned workshops and contribute reusable templates, playbooks, and accelerators to ELEKS’ global PMO knowledge base, raising the delivery maturity of the entire 2,000+ professional organization.
• • Act as the primary escalation point for customers and internal executives; negotiate change orders, scope adjustments, and timeline revisions while preserving trust and commercial relationships.
• • Mentor junior project managers and business analysts, guiding them toward PMP, PMI-ACP, or SAFe certifications and building the next generation of ELEKS delivery leaders.
