📋 Description

• Lead end-to-end project management for AI-focused language services, ensuring timely delivery and adherence to quality standards across global client projects.
• Collaborate with Client Management to align project expectations, deliver client-facing updates, and maintain clear communication throughout the project lifecycle.
• Oversee budget management including tracking costs, reconciling invoices, managing purchase orders, and proactively flagging commercial risks to ensure financial viability.
• Partner with Resource Management to cast appropriate talent across internal and freelance linguist teams, ensuring optimal workload distribution and capacity alignment with client scopes.
• Implement and champion structured workflows and process efficiencies within Integrated Production, with a focus on deploying AI Agents to automate and streamline operations.
• Mentor and coach junior producers, providing constructive feedback, guidance, and leadership to foster team growth and high-performance culture.
• Monitor linguist performance and availability, planning freelance resource capacity against project demands to ensure consistent delivery on client commitments.
• Problem-solve in real time during production, applying agility and creativity to resolve operational challenges without compromising creative or commercial objectives.
• Escalate critical risks to senior Language Production leadership while independently managing low-priority issues to maintain project momentum.
• Build and maintain strong client relationships at the project level, representing Jellyfish with professionalism and ensuring successful project outcomes.
• Ensure quality control and creative integrity are upheld across all language production deliverables while meeting business and financial targets.
• Drive adoption of AI-powered automation tools across language production workflows to increase efficiency, reduce manual effort, and improve scalability.
• Work within a hybrid model, contributing up to 60% of time remotely while maintaining full collaboration with global teams and clients.
• Operate with flexible working hours between 8am and 6:30pm to support individual work-life preferences and productivity rhythms.
• Contribute to a culture of inclusive collaboration, valuing diverse perspectives and unique contributions across global teams.
• Support the company’s Employment Equity Plan by prioritizing candidates aligned with affirmative action measures.

🎯 Requirements

• Project Management & Organizational Excellence – Strong ability to plan, scope, and oversee projects, ensuring financial, operational, and creative alignment.
• Language Production Knowledge – Understanding of language production workflows, including creation, localisation, and AI-powered automation.
• Budgeting & Commercial Acumen – Ability to track costs, reconcile expenses, and ensure projects remain financially viable and commercially strategic.
• Stakeholder Management – Skilled at working with internal teams, external suppliers, and clients, maintaining strong relationships.
• Problem-Solving & Decision-Making – Capable of managing multiple projects, troubleshooting issues, and providing solutions proactively.
• Attention to Detail – Impeccable ability to maintain quality control and uphold creative integrity while meeting business objectives.
