- • Develop, test, and support features for DataRobot’s GenAI platform and Agentic applications with a primary focus on expanding unstructured data connectivity and data processing capabilities.
- • Own and drive key engineering projects and milestones while fostering a culture of abundant communication across globally distributed teams.
- • Write and maintain automated tests to ensure code quality, reliability, and scalability of backend services.
- • Communicate clearly and proactively with product and technical stakeholders to clarify requirements and align on deliverables.
- • Actively seek, give, and receive constructive feedback during code reviews and team discussions to improve engineering outcomes.
- • Collaborate with peers to solve complex problems, unblock team members, and advance shared engineering goals.
- • Take full ownership of developed components, ensuring delivered work meets high standards of quality and maintainability.
- • Participate in engineering on-call rotations to provide escalated support for services owned by the Data&Connectors team.
- • Apply strong software engineering fundamentals in algorithms, data structures, distributed systems, scalability, performance, and reliability to design robust backend solutions.
- • Design, deploy, and maintain cloud-native applications using modern infrastructure tools and practices in a production environment.
- • Work in a fast-paced, flexible startup environment with a geographically distributed team spanning the US, Ukraine, Germany, Poland, and Singapore.
- • Ensure all deliverables meet the competency level where managers can have high confidence in timely and reliable execution.
- • Engage with technologies including Python, Kotlin/Java, Kubernetes, Docker, Helm, and Harness to build and operate scalable AI platforms.
- • Contribute to the evolution of monolithic systems by decoupling them into smaller, reusable, and independently deployable components.
- • Maintain high standards of communication in English with both technical and non-technical audiences across global time zones.
🎯 Requirements
- • 4 to 10+ years of proven experience writing high-quality code in a collaborative, cloud-native environment, preferably using Python
- • Experience designing, deploying, and maintaining cloud-based solutions on major cloud platforms
- • Strong software engineering fundamentals in algorithms, data structures, and distributed systems principles related to scalability, performance, and reliability
- • Effective communication skills in English to interact with technical and non-technical stakeholders
- • Proven ability to own projects, deliver on milestones, and operate with high autonomy and accountability
- • Demonstrated problem-solving and critical thinking skills with a proactive approach to execution
