- • As a Senior QA Engineer (C++) at FICO, you will play a critical role in ensuring the quality and reliability of cutting-edge analytics software used by global financial institutions and enterprises. Your work directly supports the delivery of high-stakes applications in credit scoring, fraud detection, and lending systems that impact millions of users worldwide.
- • Day to day, you will develop and execute comprehensive test plans, perform both manual and automated testing (including black-box and grey-box techniques), review and maintain automated test scripts, identify and track defects, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure product readiness through quality metrics and release planning.
- • You will join FICO’s world-class Software Quality Assurance team within a global organization known for innovation in analytics software, serving over 100 countries with solutions that power decisions in banking, insurance, retail, and telecommunications.
- • In this role, you will deepen your expertise in test automation, C++ application validation, and enterprise-scale QA processes while contributing to continuous improvement initiatives and gaining exposure to modern DevOps practices, CI/CD pipelines, and cloud-native technologies like Docker and Kubernetes.
🎯 Requirements
- • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, applications systems design, or related data processing field
- • 12+ years of experience in software quality assurance with strong QA process knowledge
- • Proficiency in Python, GitHub/SVN, and test management tools (QTEST, JIRA, Quality Center)
- • Experience testing and validating C++ applications
- • Ability to develop and implement test automation strategies
- • Experience with Docker and Kubernetes (good to have)
