Full Job Description
đź“‹ Description
- • Own full-cycle recruiting for every open role across all departments at Omniscient Neurotechnology Inc., from defining search parameters to closing signed offers.
- • Proactively source passive candidates using targeted strategies rather than relying on inbound applications, building qualified pipelines from scratch for each requisition.
- • Write, refine, and optimize job postings to attract the right talent and adjust messaging when candidate quality declines.
- • Conduct phone pre-screens, coordinate multi-stage interviews, and maintain consistent communication with candidates throughout the hiring process.
- • Close candidates by negotiating compensation, managing counteroffers, and re-engaging candidates who experience cold feet.
- • Partner with hiring managers in Strategy, Editorial, Operations, and Sales as an equal to prioritize hiring needs, challenge unrealistic criteria, and design efficient interview workflows.
- • Administer and optimize the Ashby ATS, ensuring accurate pipeline data, implementing new processes, and maintaining system integrity.
- • Track and report weekly and monthly recruiting metrics, building dashboards that provide real-time visibility into funnel health, time-to-hire, and offer acceptance rates.
- • Identify at-risk searches early using data insights and serve as the primary source of recruiting analytics and reporting for leadership.
- • Maintain meticulous attention to detail, ensuring no candidate falls through the cracks and pipelines remain clean, organized, and actionable.
- • Operate autonomously without supervision, proactively communicating status updates, roadblocks, and opportunities for process improvement.
- • Ensure work hours overlap at least four hours with US Eastern Time to effectively coordinate with hiring managers and conduct candidate conversations across time zones.
- • Serve as the sole recruiter for the company, bearing full responsibility for the quality, speed, and scale of all hires.
- • Contribute to shaping the future of Omniscient’s talent function with a clear path to building and leading a formal talent team over time.
- • Collaborate with a lean, agile, and experimental team focused on organic growth, innovation, and delivering exceptional results for B2B software clients.
- • Maintain a professional, respectful, and team-oriented demeanor—no arrogance or passive behavior tolerated; ownership and friendliness are required.
- • Fluently write and speak English to conduct high-stakes closing conversations with senior-level candidates.

- • Hands-on administration of Ashby or a similar ATS (e.g., Greenhouse, Lever), not just basic usage
- • Meticulous attention to detail with zero tolerance for messy pipelines or dropped candidates
- • Ability to partner with hiring managers as an equal, challenge unrealistic criteria, and earn their trust through consistent, data-informed advice
